Pin issue : placement modification permission

Hello Dev Team,

I’ve noticed that in Autodesk Docs, it’s now possible to freely move Pin Issues in 2d and 3D mode. While this flexibility is useful, it could lead to accidental repositioning, which may cause confusion or errors.

To mitigate this risk, I’d like to propose the following enhancements:

1. Restrict Pin Issue movement based on user permissions – Only authorized users should be able to modify the placement.
2. Add a confirmation prompt – When a Pin Issue is moved, display a warning message such as: “Are you sure you want to move this Pin Issue?”
3. Track activities in the file activity log – Any change in Pin Issue location should be recorded in the “View File Activities” section for traceability.

We have this exact issue with Issues, inexperienced users move them, which automatically updates the thumbnail picture to something obscure, making it more difficult for other users to understand where and what the issue is when neither the picture or location is correct!
