In the Reviews tool, while configuring approval workflows with the “Copy approved files” option enabled, we often allow initiators to change the target folder by checking the “Allow the initiator to change the target folder” box. However, initiators sometimes forget to verify or select the correct target folder, which leads to approved files being moved to incorrect locations within the project.
To prevent this, we propose adding a fourth checkbox (or a sub-checkbox) under the existing option:
“Mandate the acceptance of target folder by the initiator.”
This would require the initiator to explicitly acknowledge or confirm the target folder before submitting the review, ensuring that files are moved to the correct location after approval. This enhancement would help maintain folder structure integrity and reduce errors caused by oversight.
