Would your company consider the idea of having a feature where you may upload an excel spreadsheet/file to function in Build? For example:
- Upload an excel sheet/file that has an entire projects list of rooms (room # and name of room by level and area of the building)
- Part of this may be available I don’t know unless some one typed it in manually.
- From this, having the option in Build to mass select by level or area or entire project or individually those that were uploaded and create forms from a template that was created in Build?
- Example: After inputting all the rooms into Build, now I would go to a list that shows all the rooms by area and by floor level and could click on any individual room or all rooms and automatically populate within a template/checklist for lets say “In Wall Checklist” or “Above Ceiling Checklist” or “Firestopping Checklist”.
- This way it is not done manually for each room on a project and therefore taking up a lot of time from an individual.
- More importantly for each checklist I would have to do it manually.
- Large projects can have hundreds of rooms?
