In our company, we use the Location tool to help employees work faster with the plans/sheets. However, we have noticed the following issue:
When creating locations in a published plan/sheet and defining them through marked areas, these locations can be connected to other plans/sheets. But currently, only the locations are transferred – not the marked areas themselves.
For example: we defined the marked areas on architectural plans/sheets and then wanted to connect several additional plans/sheets for different trades. These trade-specific plans/sheets also rely on the digital locations, but since the marked areas are not transferred, the visual orientation is missing and the workflow becomes inconsistent. To fix this, the marked areas would have to be redrawn in every single plan/sheet, and with up to 15 different trades per floor this becomes avoidable and unnecessary work.
Suggestion:
It would be very helpful to have a function (e.g., a button) that transfers not only the locations but also their marked areas to the connected plans/sheets. This would make working with multiple plans/sheets more efficient and consistent, as users would not need to redraw the marked areas for every trade plan.
