When generating issue reports in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), two different reference numbers are currently used depending on the view: On detail pages, the Issue ID is shown and acts as the primary identifier. On the sheet overview, a different number (marker / pin number) is displayed. Although a one-to-one relationship between these numbers already exists in the detail view, this relationship is not transparent for the end user. As a result, users need to switch back and forth between overview and detail pages to understand which issue corresponds to which marker. From a usability perspective, it would be much clearer and more intuitive to work with a single reference number, preferably the Issue ID, across both: the overview plan the detail pages Since the relationship between Issue ID and marker number already exists internally, it should be possible to link this behind the scenes and display the Issue ID consistently, without changing the underlying data structure. Suggested improvement Use the Issue ID as the primary visible reference on both overview plans and detail views or Provide an option to toggle which number is displayed on the overview plan This would significantly improve clarity and user experience for project teams and clients reviewing issue reports, without impacting existing workflows. Within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), there is currently an inconsistency between Files and Specifications with regard to access control and auditability. Files Clear separation between View and Download permissions Download actions are logged via File Activities Specifications No distinction between View and View & Download When a PDF can be viewed, it can always be downloaded No available logging to identify if or when a document was downloaded This results in a governance and auditability gap, especially since Specifications often contain contractual, technical, or sensitive project information. Requested enhancement Introduce a View-only (no download) permission for Specifications, similar to Files Add download logging / audit trail for Specifications This would improve consistency across ACC modules and strengthen governance, security, and traceability without impacting existing workflows. Project types are used in many reports/dashboards. This is also a required field when creating a new project. Currently, this is a standard list, and you cannot create or delete project types. This limits your options and may result in inaccurate reporting. It would also be nice to sort and filter in your MyHome dashboard and have specific permissions on Project Types. Show More

Currently, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) limits the number of assignees per Submittal to a maximum of 10 users. For large-scale construction projects, this limitation creates significant workflow challenges. We strongly request increasing this limit to at least 30 individual assignees.         Background & Problem Statement     ACC Submittals are designed to track review status per individual assignee, which is a very valuable capability for accountability and auditability.   However, the current limitation causes issues because:   Submittals often require review by many individual stakeholders, not just roles or companies Role-based or Company-based assignees do not fit workflows where: Individual approval status must be visible Review history needs to be tracked per person   Individual-based assignment is essential for: Compliance Accountability Long-term record keeping of who reviewed what and when             Business Impact     Due to the 10-user assignee limit, teams managing large projects are forced to:   Create multiple duplicate Submittals for the same document Partially revert to manual or paper-based workflows Use additional tools outside ACC to complete reviews     This significantly reduces efficiency and undermines ACC’s value as a centralized platform for large projects.   Additionally, Submittals templates often reach the maximum limit (250 templates) more quickly due to duplicated workflows created solely to bypass the assignee restriction.         Requested Enhancement     Increase the maximum number of individual Submittals assignees to at least 30 users Maintain the current functionality of: Individual review status visibility Per-user approval history tracking             Expected Benefits     Enables ACC to fully support large and complex project workflows Eliminates the need for duplicate Submittals and manual processes Improves adoption of ACC as a true enterprise-level construction management platform         This enhancement would significantly improve usability for teams managing large-scale projects and better align ACC Submittals with real-world industry requirements.   Thank you for your consideration. After writing minutes of a meeting you need to notify and share with invitees. You can do this but it comes with a generic notification with no option to customize it. The request is, when sharing meetings, to have the option to send out a notification with a customized subject and message. An example of this can be seen in Cost Management when sending out contracts, you can customize the subject and the message (see screenshot attached). Show More

Current Limitation: In Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Submittals, reviewer-related date information (such as review start date, response date, or reviewer action dates) is correctly captured within the platform and is also available when exporting submittal data to PDF format. However, when exporting the same submittal data to Excel, these reviewer date fields are not included in the Excel output. Business Impact: This limitation makes it difficult for project teams to perform reporting, tracking, and analysis using Excel, especially for audit purposes, schedule tracking, and management reporting where reviewer timelines are required. Expected Enhancement: The Excel export for Submittals should include the same reviewer date fields that are currently available within the platform and reflected in the PDF export. Benefit: Providing consistent data across PDF and Excel exports will improve reporting accuracy, reduce manual workarounds, and enhance overall usability for project controls and documentation teams. I would like to be able to have progress photos I take auto fill the location. I have locations entered and the plans linked to them but I have to manually enter the location in the drop down "Location" tab after I take a photo. Can you make it to where if I select a room to take a picture it will auto fill that location. When I do that with "Issues" it will auto fill but not with photos. Show More

We’d like to share a feature request related to Review Templates management in Submittals, based on feedback from customers managing large-scale projects.     Background     In large and mega-size projects (especially in Japan), customers often manage 100–200+ review templates within a single project. At the same time, project members frequently change over the course of the project (e.g. reviewers joining or leaving every few months).   Because approvals are required per individual person (not just by role or company), review templates need to be updated frequently to reflect these membership changes.     Current Challenge     Today, all review template updates must be done manually through the ACC Web UI.   This creates several pain points:   Updating many templates one by one is very time-consuming The UI panel is small, making it difficult to: Search for the correct workflow/template Identify which reviewers need to be removed or added   Bulk updates (e.g. replacing reviewers across many templates) are not supported     For customers managing hundreds of templates, this becomes a significant operational burden.     Requested Capability     Customers are asking for a way to manage review templates in bulk, ideally through an Excel-based workflow, such as:   Export current review templates to Excel (including template name, step number, reviewers per step) Edit reviewers and steps in Excel Import the updated Excel file back into ACC to apply changes     Alternative solutions (bulk edit UI, API-based bulk updates, etc.) could also work, but export/import via Excel would align best with existing customer workflows.     Expected Benefits     Significant time savings for Submittals managers Reduced risk of manual errors Easier management of frequent reviewer changes Better scalability for large and long-running projects     Is this type of bulk management capability on the roadmap, or is there any recommended approach today for handling this at scale?   Thank you for considering this request. When creating a new template->"Build a new form"->"Select a starting template" the user is presented with a list of templates to start a template creation from. This list must be editable in some way, at least to project admins who would be able to add or remove starting templates suggestions from this list.
