Please put in a request that this functionality be implemented for subcontractors. We should be able to decide who receives our financial information upon receiving an executed NDA. This is a significant limitation of BuildingConnected. Subcontractors should be able to control its protected confidential information to those they decide to do business with.  Current setup does not allow subcontractors the ability to control the release of financial statements until an executed NDA with a contractor.  Financial statements are released globally. Hi there, It would be great if there was a search function when adding projects to sync in Desktop Connector. It would be ideal for it to work in the same way as the filter search in Microsoft Excel, so could just start typing a project name / number and it would pop up. We have lots of different projects and they're raised in project number order. I would like to request the option for UNIVERSAL FOLDER ATTRIBUTE SETTINGS in ACC Docs that can be set by Project Admin. This would mean Project Admin can set the specific folder attribute fields AND the order that they appear in ACC docs which would be locked and viewable by ALL project users.  The UNIVERSAL FOLDER ATTRIBUTE SETTINGS would not just be set from the project template - but be able to be adjusted at any time in a project, by Project Admin which would update the folder for all users (for example, if a new attribute was created specifically for a project).  An option should be for Project Admin to be able to LOCK the UNIVERSAL FOLDER ATTRIBUTE SETTINGS so general users are unable to modify these if preferred. This would avoid important or required folder attributes being missed by users and also save lots of time having all users needing to customise their own folder attribute requirements and viewing order separately. Add additional text editing tools - highlighting, color of text.   Being able to highlight text or change text color would be very helpful in order to stress importance in our messages.  Just being able to bold or underline isn’t enough. Show More

Within the Assets, the manipulation and filtering of columns only saves through web browser cache. This does little good for companies that may try to manage browser cache or attempt to clear user's web browser cache during troubleshooting other problems, only to find that it resets a user's saved views within not only ACC's Assets module but other modules within the platform. The ability to save defined views across the entirety of the platform should be a staple. This seems like something everyone would benefit from. It would also be nice to be able to pre-configure these in our project templates and have them pre-implemented into projects ready for a user at launch. Cost Management does a fantastic job of this. There should be an option to enable the weekly auto-publish for those using the Live Linking (LL) workflow WITHOUT having to enable Teams in Design Collaboration (DC).   Why? We don't need to publish for Share/Consume, BUT we do leverage published models for Model Coordination, for non-Revit users to view/markup/comment in Docs, to share models via Bridge, etc.    Problem with creating the Team in DC: If permissions (by company) have been given to folders PRIOR to creating the Team in DC, when you add the Team to turn on the auto-publish, EVERY company within that Docs folder will have their permissions elevated to Edit (WITHOUT NOTIFICATION). Specify default (prepopulated) value for a field when editing the attribute or in a naming standard. Fields are left blank until a user fills it. It would be helpful if we could specify a default value for specific fields, so that the user does not have to type it in or select it from a list, unless it requires another value.  Show More

Recently we received an update in Schedules tool which allow user to commit to a task or milestone in a workplan. We found it a great update, but we noticed although when re-planning a committed task/milestone, ACC asks us to enter the new data and the root cause for the change, but after the change, there is no way we can see the history and the re-planned dates. We would preferably want to have that history visible both in the task/milestone panel itself but also a marker (such as a red dot or something) on the swimlane view. This help us to visualize , how many times that specific committed task/milestone was replanned and from which dates it was replanned. We can re-use such a data to later improve our planning for next projects. But we need to have access to those historical dates. Thanks in advance. Show More
