I would like to bring to your attention a limitation I have noticed in the “My Home” function. Currently, the Project Assigned Work section only allows filtering by individual names, rather than by Role or Company. This limitation poses a challenge, as our team frequently assigns Submittals based on Role or Company. As a result, I am unable to efficiently track assigned work through the My Home function and must manually filter by Role or Company within the Submittal section, which can be time-consuming. I kindly request that you consider an enhancement to the My Home function to enable filtering and viewing of assigned work by Role or Company, as this would greatly improve monitoring and project management efficiency. There are ongoing discussions around the potential mandate of the OpenBIM initiative in the UK by 2026. In preparation for this, it will be increasingly important to support the management and exchange of IFC data within the ACC environment. While ACC currently provides functionality for managing IFC models and exporting coordination issues as BCF files, there is a significant opportunity to enhance these capabilities further.   A valuable enhancement would be to expand the “Specifications” tab within Docs to include support for IDS (Information Delivery Specification). Incorporating IDS would enable in-model validation workflows allowing users to check IFC data directly against defined information requirements. This process would ensure that the model content complies with project-specific information standards before key deliverables are submitted.   Integrating IDS into ACC would create a transparent audit trail for IFC model development. This would provide visibility into how data requirements have evolved throughout the project lifecycle, highlight any missing or non-compliant information, and improve overall data quality and accountability across the design, coordination, and delivery phases.   Such functionality would position ACC as a leading platform for OpenBIM compliance and data governance, aligning with the UK’s anticipated regulatory direction and international best practices for digital construction workflows. Hello - I recently came across an issue while drafting work plans where Task IDs are assigned chronologically by when the Task is created with no ability to alter the Task ID post-creation. This presents challenges when tasks are missed the first go around, later added to the correct location within the WBS, but when sorting the list and exporting, the logic no longer follows the order of the WBS or the swimlane view and an ascending/descending list by Task ID doesn't actually end up exporting as intended. Would it be possible to manually renumber Task IDs or add a renumber function so that we could match Task IDs with the WBS especially for instances where tasks/subtasks are added later? Show More

My current project I'm on requires an extreme level of documentation.  I need to provide "evidence" of completing my tasks, including closing RFIs and submittals.  Due to that fact, I would like the option to receive ALL email notifications, even of the tasks that are self-performed.   I had 2 open tickets with Autodesk Support,  02167805 and 02167802, both cases I was told to list myself as a Watcher to receive notifications.  I had to tell the support person that being a Watcher doesn't provide email notifications for self-performed tasks and sited this webpage (https://help.autodesk.com/view/DOCS/ENU/?guid=Member_Notifications&utm_source=chatgpt.com).  Regardless, this would be a helpful option to have in cases where extra documentation is needed.   Show More

We need to be able to notify assigned members of tasks that have been assigned to them automatically through ACC! This seems like an oversight not to have this functionality. We can notify assigned members of Issues, but when I'm trying to create an entire task block for members I cannot notify them without needing to start a new correspondence or some other work around for Plans. These are literal tasks that need to be completed and not being able to notify members of these items really sets back this feature. Please add this! Show More

Hi everyone,   We're working on integrating ACC for on-site operations, including collaboration with subcontractors. One key aspect is the defect tracking workflow. To ensure the integrity of this process, it's crucial that information added by the initiator, such as priority and categories, remains unalterable.   I propose implementing permissions on issues feature for attributes, whether custom or native, to address this.   Additionally, making GPS location a mandatory field would be beneficial, as it ensures accuracy despite mobile adjustments to the GPS pin. Creating a robust workflow would also significantly improve the process, allowing the person responsible for modifications to evaluate whether changes are acceptable.   Currently, anyone can alter the status, disrupting the process flow, and email notifications alone are insufficient for managing this critical task effectively.   Thank you in advance! Currently, the analytics displayed on the My Home page only reflect items that are directly assigned to the individual user. While this is useful, it does not provide a complete picture for users who work as part of a role-based team. Please consider enhancing the My Home page analytics to also include items that are assigned to roles the user belongs to, in addition to their personal assignments. This would provide a more comprehensive and accurate overview of all responsibilities and progress for that user, especially in collaborative or role-driven workflows. Show More

In Insight Builder, we are currently able to report on tasks that are in the project schedule (imported from MS Project) but we cannot report on tasks that are created in a Plan.    As an example, it can be useful to see when a specific milestone is scheduled to complete across all the projects in the organization.  We can do this if the milestone is in a project schedule, but cannot do the same thing if the milestone is in a project plan.   As plan becomes a more robust tool, with new features added, we see ourselves using plan more.  It would be useful to be able to draw plan information into our reports the same way we can project schedule information. On the landing page (invitations page) the flags are all red. It is t difficult to quickly filter the reds from the yellow and greens. We should be able to filter by flag colors also. This way it is now is very time consuming.  Show More

We would definitely benefit from a reminder option in :  - Forms : to allow a GC to send a reminder for the superintendents making sure they fill out the daily logs and other daily inspections. Having a recurrent reminder sent out as a daily task is a tool that will enhance the end user daily work. Maybe the tool can be added to forms or to plans in schedule as a reminder to notify assignees of their next to do task.  - In submittals : having also a tool to send a reminder to the ball in court member if he has delays.    If this feature would help you too, a 👍 upvote would go a long way in getting the Autodesk development team’s attention! When you click on a schedule activity and then add it to an existing plan, ACC will automatically switch to that plan. This is fine when you're only adding one activity from the schedule to the plan (unlikely) but if you're trying to add multiple activities (more likely) to the plan, this can be very cumbersome because you need to click back and forth between the plan and schedule, scroll back down to where you were, and so forth.   If ACC simply added the schedule activity to the plan and remained on the schedule page, this would be a much better workflow.   Thanks! ACC, once importing aBCF inside Issue Tab, THAT IS UPDATING AN EXISTING ISSUE FROM BCF, ACC Issue is not reading correctly the value 'Open' of the BCF Status. Note: This occurs not at the first import (new issue) but in the update of an existing Issue. This happens only in the case of Status Open, while in case of status Close, the issue status is updated reading the BCF Status. The same situation happen in case of other Status related to BCF imported inside ACC Issues, such as In Review or Pending, but those are not considered as meaninfull use cases since not standard BCF Statues and not impacting the General Checking workflows  using BCF. Saipem faced the missing of integration of  BCF ‘Open’ Status inside ACC Issue as a very impactful dysfunction on workflows.
