In the current submissions workflow, every time you move to the next submission step, you must manually copy each attachment from the previous step to the current one. This process is unnecessarily time-consuming. When copying a file, the interface automatically scrolls down to where the copied file appears at the bottom of the list. If you have a long list (e.g., 30+ files), this forces you to scroll all the way back up for every single file, making it difficult to keep track of which files you’ve already copied and which ones remain. It slows down the workflow significantly. Suggested improvements: Add a “Copy All Attachments to Current Step” button This would allow users to transfer all files from the previous step in one action instead of copying them one by one. Make the attachments pop-up window resizable Allowing users to drag the window edges to enlarge it would provide better visibility of the file list, reducing scrolling and improving usability. These small improvements would save a lot of time, reduce user frustration, and make the submissions process much smoother for projects with many attachments. Show More

Our team has encountered a serious issue within Autodesk Construction Cloud regarding submittal revision control. Once a new revision is created, there is no functionality to revert or step back to a previous revision. This limitation presents a major risk and operational failure for our project. In cases where an incorrect file or action is submitted, there is currently no way to correct or undo that revision. This is absolutely detrimental to our document control process and is causing confusion, delays, and potential noncompliance with our QA/QC standards. At minimum, we need one of the following options implemented or confirmed as feasible: • The ability to revert to a prior revision or • An administrative override to remove or replace an incorrect revision without corrupting the revision history. I have encountered a limitation when exporting a Submittal Report. While some Submittals contain multiple Revisions, the exported report appears to capture only the latest Revision. As it is important to keep track of all Revisions within a Submittal, I would like to highlight that there currently seems to be no option to include the full revision history in the exported report. It would be highly beneficial if the export functionality could be enhanced to retain and display all Revisions for comprehensive tracking and record-keeping. Show More

I am aware of the current submittal limitation whereby, during the review process, we are unable to download attachments in bulk. We must download each document manually, which is highly inefficient, especially when there are more than 20 documents uploaded. When creating a submittal, the Responsible Contractor is not able to add Watchers.   On our projects, only senior staff create submittals. These submittals often contain work produced by junior staff. The junior staff cannot be made default watchers as they should not have access to all submittals that are created, as some contain confidential information. Furthermore, we want to avoid the step where the Submittal Manager has to add Watchers to each submittal as this creates unnecessary admin.   It would be helpful if the Responsible Contractor could add Watchers. This would streamline the process for the Submittal Manager. It would be advantageous to enable seamless integration between project specifications and their corresponding Autodesk Build submittal spec sections and Autodesk Takeoff classification systems. Furthermore, direct integration with widely used specification subscription services would ensure that accurate information is automatically linked to the specifications, submittal sections & classification types, reducing reliance on manual data entry or Excel imports and streamlining the management of specification updates. In the SUBMITTALS tab on ACC Build, all created submittals are displayed in the form of a list.  To edit the information in any of the submittals, the Project Member is required to click on the submittal to open it and then edit the information.   In our projects, we have several submittals being created daily.  It would be useful if the “Title” column in the submittal list could be edited by the Submittal Manager directly from the list, without needing to open each submittal.  This will allow the Submittal Manager to more easily and efficiently edit the “Title” of each submittal.   Please find the attached screenshot, “Submittals - Title Column”, which shows the “Title” column in the submittal list which should allow for direct editing by the Submittal Manager. We need an option to toggle on an automated (scheduled) email reminder for items in the different modules at different time frames. F   For example, as a Document Controller, you need to automatically trigger an email to an Engineer when an RFI response or Submittal review is due within 5 days, another when it is due in 3 days, and then daily once it is overdue.   Many users would benefit from an email to prompt them to take action. This is helpful in the interim until users are accustomed to working directly out of the ACC and relying on each modules home page to see where items are in their status. Show More

Currently, Contractors are unable to create or send submittals to Consultants for review using the mobile app, which limits their ability to manage submittals efficiently while in the field. Several Contractors have requested this functionality to streamline workflows and reduce delays when away from a desktop. It would be highly beneficial to enable mobile support for creating submittal items and submitting them to the Consultant, allowing Contractors to initiate, populate, and send submittals directly from their mobile devices. This enhancement would improve responsiveness, support field-driven documentation, and align mobile capabilities with real-world project demands. Show More

When exporting a PDF Submittal Detail Report there is an option to embed attached files, but not referenced files.  Manually inserting the referenced files to the exported report later is tedious and inefficient.  The RFI tool allows referenced files to be embedded.  Please can this functionality be provided in the Submittal tool as well?   Furthermore, it would also be helpful if there was an option to include markups on the embedded references because there are often important markups made on files referenced as part of RFIs and Submittals.  Our current workaround is to export the file with markups from the Files tool and manually insert it in the exported PDF RFI/Submittal Detail Report.  This is also tedious and inefficient.  Please can there be an option to include markups?
