When a submittal is created, the creator's name appears under the Responsible Contractor by name and not by role. It would be great to have the option for the role of that person to appear instead.   On our projects, we have several people assigned to a specific role that is responsible for submittals. Therefore, it would assist us if all members assigned to that role could act as the Responsible Contractor on any submittal that is created by someone in that role. This would ensure that the submittal process is not delayed if the member who originally created the submittal is unable to take the required action for any reason. Show More

Certain tools in ACC Build including ISSUES and RFIs allow for comments to be included when exporting the item. When an ISSUE or RFI is exported, there is the option to include comments by means of a slider bar.   It would be useful to have the option to include comments when exporting submittals. We would like to suggest adding a simple option to customize project working days in Autodesk ACC. Currently, the default working days are set from Monday to Friday, but not all projects follow this schedule. Having the ability to define our own working days would greatly improve the accuracy of tracking submittals, reviews, and overall project timelines especially for teams operating on different workweek patterns. Right now you can only allow visibility to closed submittals. I need to be able to give visibility to ALL submittals (submitted, in review or closed) to non-Submittal managers or submittal tagged persons. We have a lot of consultants who do not need to be in workflow to review and do not need to be "watcher status" and get all the updates. However, it is helpful if they can thumb through the other submittals as needed for coordination rather than going through my log or asking for each piece of the puzzle.  Also, there are various trades that it would be helpful for them to know other trade submittals to plan or ask questions before they are approved. As CM/GC it is up to my team to identify, download and circulate seperately versus the trade being able to see and download on their own.  I do not understand the risk besides someone using somehting that is not approved, but then they could follow up with us on the final/status. Less extra downloading and this level of transparency could only benefit the project team as a whole. Show More

We would definitely benefit from a reminder option in :  - Forms : to allow a GC to send a reminder for the superintendents making sure they fill out the daily logs and other daily inspections. Having a recurrent reminder sent out as a daily task is a tool that will enhance the end user daily work. Maybe the tool can be added to forms or to plans in schedule as a reminder to notify assignees of their next to do task.  - In submittals : having also a tool to send a reminder to the ball in court member if he has delays.    If this feature would help you too, a 👍 upvote would go a long way in getting the Autodesk development team’s attention! A rejected submittal should trigger the creation of a new submission round without the intervention of the submittal manager and the responsible contactor should be directly required in the specific submittal to submit the new revision documents. We would like to propose extending the capabilities of the Search function within the Submittal section to align with the Files search behavior. Currently, the Submittal search requires exact word matches (e.g., “Submittal” must be spelled precisely to return results). In contrast, the Files search supports more flexible matching—it can locate results even when the search term has no spaces or differs slightly from the exact text, and it also searches within document contents. At the moment, the field Responsible Contractor in a Submittal contains the Contractor Name and the company in brackets. When creating an Excel Report only the Responsible Contractor name is preserved, there is no column for the Company. The Column for company should be added.  Show More

Hello,   we need an option to name steps in submittals, just like we can in Docs - Reviews. Usually, you have Build more developed then Docs because you charge additionally for Build license. This should not be too difficult for you. We need this because this is our workaround for your strange setup of submittals. Usually, we have 5 reviewers in open step, but when we step back all reviews, comments, attachments are gone. So, we need to create each reviewer as separate step. Please add filter per step in submittals. We already have this in Docs - reviews and it works quite well for us. We are used to on filtering per step to see what do we have to review, but currently we don't have this option in submittals. There is already indicator of step under ´Status´ field, but no filter.  Show More
