Right now you can only allow visibility to closed submittals. I need to be able to give visibility to ALL submittals (submitted, in review or closed) to non-Submittal managers or submittal tagged persons. We have a lot of consultants who do not need to be in workflow to review and do not need to be "watcher status" and get all the updates. However, it is helpful if they can thumb through the other submittals as needed for coordination rather than going through my log or asking for each piece of the puzzle.  Also, there are various trades that it would be helpful for them to know other trade submittals to plan or ask questions before they are approved. As CM/GC it is up to my team to identify, download and circulate seperately versus the trade being able to see and download on their own.  I do not understand the risk besides someone using somehting that is not approved, but then they could follow up with us on the final/status. Less extra downloading and this level of transparency could only benefit the project team as a whole. Show More

We would like to suggest adding a simple option to customize project working days in Autodesk ACC. Currently, the default working days are set from Monday to Friday, but not all projects follow this schedule. Having the ability to define our own working days would greatly improve the accuracy of tracking submittals, reviews, and overall project timelines especially for teams operating on different workweek patterns. We would definitely benefit from a reminder option in :  - Forms : to allow a GC to send a reminder for the superintendents making sure they fill out the daily logs and other daily inspections. Having a recurrent reminder sent out as a daily task is a tool that will enhance the end user daily work. Maybe the tool can be added to forms or to plans in schedule as a reminder to notify assignees of their next to do task.  - In submittals : having also a tool to send a reminder to the ball in court member if he has delays.    If this feature would help you too, a 👍 upvote would go a long way in getting the Autodesk development team’s attention! Currently, there is an option to save submittals to Files when closing and distributing; however, on consultant-driven projects, it is typically the Contractor who closes the submittal, and as a result, the submittal often doesn't get properly filed. It would be a significant improvement to introduce a setting within Submittals that enables automatic filing of closed submittals to a designated folder. Ideally, this folder could be predefined per project or submittal group. Bonus points if the system also supports applying custom attributes—such as spec section, Type, Package, etc.—to the filed submittal automatically, based on the submittal metadata. This would ensure more consistent document organization, reduce manual effort, and improve traceability and compliance across teams. Show More

Please add filter per step in submittals. We already have this in Docs - reviews and it works quite well for us. We are used to on filtering per step to see what do we have to review, but currently we don't have this option in submittals. After a submittal is created, when editing the submittal review workflow on ACC Browser, "Required reviewers(s)" and "Optional reviewers(s)" are to be added. Once a project member is added as a "Required reviewer", that project members' name does not appear under the "Optional reviewer" list. Similarly, once a project member is added as an "Optional reviewer", that project members' name does not appear under the "Required reviewer" list.   It would be useful to allow all project members to be listed under "Optional reviewers(s)", even if they were added as a "Required reviewer". We need the ability to filter Submittal in the Report page by Responsible Contractor. Currently this feature does not exist. I'm aware of filtering the Submittal Log by responsible contractor and exporting a report that can then be converted to Report Template.  However, this feature did exist at one time and now it does not appear. Dear Autodesk Team,   I’d like to share a suggestion regarding the Submittal Module within Autodesk Build. I recently explored the feature that allows users to customize the dashboard view by rearranging submittal information columns—such as Title, Ball in Court, ID, Type, Manager, etc.—using the gear icon. This functionality is a great step toward improving user experience and workflow efficiency.   However, I noticed that once you navigate away from the dashboard, the customized column arrangement resets to the default layout. This means that any time spent tailoring the view to suit individual or project-specific needs is lost, requiring users to repeat the setup process each time they return.   Given that the platform already allows users to create a personalized dashboard layout, I believe it would be highly beneficial to also provide the option to save these preferences. This enhancement would not only streamline daily operations but also reinforce the value of customization within the platform.   I raised this concern with Andrew E. from your Chat Customer Support team (ACC Case Number 02163413), who confirmed that this functionality is not currently available. As per what it says in the title, for Submittals, it would be great if there's an additional line item at the end of the "download attachments" context window to download all attachments of a given stage as a compiled .zip file, with only the click of a button.   Not being able to do so is really annoying, especially when working with a larger number of attachments (like 51 files for example, which the rest of the components in Submittals do support without much problems). The current practice requires the user to click on each line item to download the attachment file individually.   I am aware of the ability to download the attachments all at once as a .zip file once the Submittal is closed, but it doesn't help when the Submittal is still in-progress and downloading the attachment files of interim stages is needed. All it needs is to extend the zipping utility's capability to the interim stages. A similar .zip file packaging capability is already present in Files when a user tries to download the source files of more than 1 file in a single given instance.   I am aware of the workaround to export the in-progress Submittal as a report (with the files embedded), but that doesn't work for attachments which are not PDF files, and it would not keep PDF files separate & associated with their own filenames.   I am also aware of the workaround to send back the Submittal to the submission author, and request the files to be put in a .zip file prior to uploading it into Submittals, but that would require additional involvement from multiple end-users (inconvenient), in which I don't think should be the right approach to this.   Please help to look into this. It would be very helpful if there was a "previous" and "next" submittal button to toggle through the submittals in order rather than having to back out to the main submittal list and select the next submittal each time. It would be best if it was able to toggle through the filtered main list if a filter was applied.   For example, I need to work through tasks in my court, so to filter by Ball in Court, then toggle to the "next" in the list would be much faster than going back to the list page to select the next submittal.  Show More

My current project I'm on requires an extreme level of documentation.  I need to provide "evidence" of completing my tasks, including closing RFIs and submittals.  Due to that fact, I would like the option to receive ALL email notifications, even of the tasks that are self-performed.   I had 2 open tickets with Autodesk Support,  02167805 and 02167802, both cases I was told to list myself as a Watcher to receive notifications.  I had to tell the support person that being a Watcher doesn't provide email notifications for self-performed tasks and sited this webpage (https://help.autodesk.com/view/DOCS/ENU/?guid=Member_Notifications&utm_source=chatgpt.com).  Regardless, this would be a helpful option to have in cases where extra documentation is needed.   Show More
