Issue: In order to export PDF sheets from the ACC mobile application, the ACC project needs to enable Public Link Sharing for Sheets and files. The snapshot function is not effective for a drawing package, and it is much better to export the entire sheet to retain the most information. This is the error we receive. If our users on the Mobile App want to export a few drawings to package while onsite, the Public Links setting has to be enabled.   The current workflow is to enable public links that are accessible to anyone. Autodesk provides "Please proceed with caution" when enabling the setting, indicating it should be done with discretion. Our files are more likely to contain sensitive information than Sheets, Project Admins would prefer to have a little more control over what types of links can be created.   Request: Enable users to download sheets from the ACC Mobile app directly without needing to enable the public links setting. It would be very useful to include the ability to place a QR code directly on drawings for use on site. When scanned by a mobile device or tablet, the QR code would indicate whether the drawing is the latest version or if an updated version exists. In the current Autodesk ACC setup, the Sheets function automatically grants View access to all project members by default. This can create problems in projects where some members require access to the Build module but should not have visibility of drawings — for example, certain subcontractors, field workers, or external collaborators who only need access to specific construction data or tasks. Introduce the ability to customize permissions for the Sheets module, similar to how permissions can be managed for Files. Suggested Features: Configurable Access Levels: Allow admins to define who can view, upload, mark up, or manage sheets, using the same people/role/company logic as in the Document Management module. Option to Disable Default “View for All” Setting: Make it possible to limit sheet visibility to selected users or roles only. Conditional Access (Optional Future Extension): Combine permissions with conditions such as Company = X AND Role = Y for advanced control. Please add a means to lock the Asset markup boundaries. Either create a ‘Lock Asset Mappings’ setting that Project Admins can set or, as with Location mapping markups, allow only Project Admins to add and update the Asset markup locations. Too often the people in the field are accidentally moving the Asset markup boundaries. These users require the ability to create and publish markups, so removing that Sheets permission from them is not an option. Show More

We are utilizing the As-Built export feature of ACC to facilitate the as-built deliverable requirements for our projects, and have encountered a common issue / complaint with respect to the hyperlink's being lost from what operates inside of ACC where it takes you to the linked RFI/Submittal/Document - when the export is completed this way currently, the exported PDF of the drawing sheet has the reference to the attachment, but that link does not work - which degrades the quality of the as-built deliverable. Suggest providing functionality where the export to PDF retains the hyperlink to the linked Documents / RFI's / Submittals to make the as-built deliverable effective at retaining the required information to make them useful outside of the mark-ups (redlines). It would be extremely helpful if the Sheets module allowed column customization — specifically, the ability to display a “Date Published” column and had the option to hide columns less relevant to the user.   Currently, users can only see the publish date by drilling into each sheet or viewing the version set details, which isn’t efficient for tracking or verifying release timelines across multiple sheets. Having the publish date visible in the main grid (or at least available as a selectable column) would make it much easier to audit drawing releases, confirm current versions, and manage coordination workflows across disciplines.   This small change would have a big impact on visibility and efficiency for project admins and VDC teams managing hundreds of sheets. Something very common that comes up during the construction phase of projects is sifting through drawing sets and seeing "Ref Specs" or "Refer to Specifications for exact locations" etc. In my experience, this can be very time consuming as both the GC and the sub-contractor to find and reference over and over again. Is there not a way to create a pathway or "link" from the sheets to the specific specification being referenced (similar to the way a detail in a sheet can be linked to another sheet)? Context: The Sheets tool is the heart of our project record. It’s where contractual obligations are tied, drawing logs are created/archived, and continuous drawing improvements are tracked. These enhancements would materially improve accuracy, speed, and downstream coordination.   1) Bulk export & bound sharing from Collections Request: Add “Export All” for Collections (helpful on projects with multiple AHJs—Authorities Having Jurisdiction). When sharing, allow one-click packaging that binds PDFs by Discipline (optionally by Set/Collection), with bookmarks and a simple table of contents. Support sharing all sheets or selected sheets. Why: We frequently need to issue full libraries or discipline-specific packets fast.   2) Per-sheet Received Date Request: Add an editable, exportable Received Date field (separate from Issue/Revision dates). Why: GCs rarely receive sheets on the actual issue date; tracking receipt supports schedule/compliance and clears up designer revision-date gaps.   3) Full post-upload metadata editing Request: Allow editing Discipline, Set/Collection, Sheet Number/Name, and all other sheet metadata after upload/ingestion. Why: Setup errors happen and project structures evolve; fixing metadata without reupload keeps records clean and saves time.   4) One-click Consolidated Drawing Log with links Request: Generate a single log across all Collections/Sets/Disciplines, exportable to PDF and CSV. Each row should include a clickable link to view/download the sheet. Why: Logs are often contract exhibits; having a current, linkable export reduces manual curation.   5) Sheets → Files (source of truth flows down) Request: After sheets are uploaded to Sheets Tool, automatically publish them into Files with matching folders/metadata and synced versioning.
