Markups created before calibration retain their original (uncalibrated) scale. Markups created after calibration will follow the new scale. This results in inconsistent sizing between old and new markups. It would be nice to be able to calibrate the existing markups that were uncalibrated without having to delete the original markup and create a new markup. Something very common that comes up during the construction phase of projects is sifting through drawing sets and seeing "Ref Specs" or "Refer to Specifications for exact locations" etc. In my experience, this can be very time consuming as both the GC and the sub-contractor to find and reference over and over again. Is there not a way to create a pathway or "link" from the sheets to the specific specification being referenced (similar to the way a detail in a sheet can be linked to another sheet)? This seems incredibly useful, and I won't say "Easy" but IT-friendly to integrate? Show More

Instead of thumbnails that don't tell you much (not even the title of the sheet), use a drop-down selector similar to how ACC Takeoff functions.  Squish the sheets closer together, so you can see more content and include markup, RFI, Issue indicators.  Also, please make the drop-down longer than what Takeoff has.  This conveys WAY MORE information than the thumbnails. Issue: In order to export PDF sheets from the ACC mobile application, the ACC project needs to enable Public Link Sharing for Sheets and files. The snapshot function is not effective for a drawing package, and it is much better to export the entire sheet to retain the most information. This is the error we receive. If our users on the Mobile App want to export a few drawings to package while onsite, the Public Links setting has to be enabled.   The current workflow is to enable public links that are accessible to anyone. Autodesk provides "Please proceed with caution" when enabling the setting, indicating it should be done with discretion. Our files are more likely to contain sensitive information than Sheets, Project Admins would prefer to have a little more control over what types of links can be created.   Request: Enable users to download sheets from the ACC Mobile app directly without needing to enable the public links setting. The workaround is: It is possible to Export the File from ACC with the markups included to be able to view them in the PDF outside the ACC viewer. This new file can then be uploaded back into ACC and opened in Desktop Connector. The markups would be visible in the exported file when opened in Desktop Connector because they are embedded in the file itself. The embedded markups cannot be edited in the ACC viewer anymore. This is a very time consuming process, besides, when you re-upload the PDF, the info "Approved with comments" will be lost in column "Status of revision" Show More

Sheets favorited on an iPad do not translate to the browser. Cannot favorite sheets in browser. This is especially challenging because the sheets show alphabetical and not in the order they are uploaded in.  Show More

Would like sheet names in hyperlinked markups to shop showing it's very difficult to view pages. Ref photo attached    Also, browser resolution is still very poor until completely zoomed in.   My internet was down briefly this morning. Because this is web-based I couldn't function. Will there ever be a desktop app like PlanGrid so we can still work even when offline?    Also, selecting sheets always opens them in a new window. Can this be disabled to stay within one webpage?  Show More

When setting up version sets in "Sheets", the same versions sets should automatically be available in "Specifications." You should have to create the same information in both the "Sheets" module and the "Specifications" module. When construction documents are published by an Architect or Contractor. the "Version Set" for the drawings and the specs usually always match, especially when the 1st versions are published.  Show More

We are utilizing the As-Built export feature of ACC to facilitate the as-built deliverable requirements for our projects, and have encountered a common issue / complaint with respect to the hyperlink's being lost from what operates inside of ACC where it takes you to the linked RFI/Submittal/Document - when the export is completed this way currently, the exported PDF of the drawing sheet has the reference to the attachment, but that link does not work - which degrades the quality of the as-built deliverable. Suggest providing functionality where the export to PDF retains the hyperlink to the linked Documents / RFI's / Submittals to make the as-built deliverable effective at retaining the required information to make them useful outside of the mark-ups (redlines). It would be extremely helpful if the Sheets module allowed column customization — specifically, the ability to display a “Date Published” column and had the option to hide columns less relevant to the user.   Currently, users can only see the publish date by drilling into each sheet or viewing the version set details, which isn’t efficient for tracking or verifying release timelines across multiple sheets. Having the publish date visible in the main grid (or at least available as a selectable column) would make it much easier to audit drawing releases, confirm current versions, and manage coordination workflows across disciplines.   This small change would have a big impact on visibility and efficiency for project admins and VDC teams managing hundreds of sheets. We need different options for generating sheets reports. Our project teams like to use collections to sort out disciplines in addition to disciplines- it makes it much easier on the iPads to run this way.  When you have collections- it makes running reports for the current sheets much more difficult. Right now the only option is to either run a report of current sheets for each collection, or all sheets issued in every collection.    Can we get an option to run a report for all current sheets in all collections?  Show More

Industrial drawings can be complicated and do not follow the conventional naming process. AAB-Z01-000D comes before AAB-E02-013D in our list of drawings, but there is no way to name them that automatically lists them this way. Even when disciplines are renamed and reordered, we can't get the sheet to fall into place. If we can't get the naming conventions to change, perhaps being able to move the sheets on the main page (like we move disciplines around) would take out time and energy to the already timely process.  Show More

Please add a means to lock the Asset markup boundaries. Either create a ‘Lock Asset Mappings’ setting that Project Admins can set or, as with Location mapping markups, allow only Project Admins to add and update the Asset markup locations. Too often the people in the field are accidentally moving the Asset markup boundaries. These users require the ability to create and publish markups, so removing that Sheets permission from them is not an option. Show More

In the current Autodesk ACC setup, the Sheets function automatically grants View access to all project members by default. This can create problems in projects where some members require access to the Build module but should not have visibility of drawings — for example, certain subcontractors, field workers, or external collaborators who only need access to specific construction data or tasks. Introduce the ability to customize permissions for the Sheets module, similar to how permissions can be managed for Files. Suggested Features: Configurable Access Levels: Allow admins to define who can view, upload, mark up, or manage sheets, using the same people/role/company logic as in the Document Management module. Option to Disable Default “View for All” Setting: Make it possible to limit sheet visibility to selected users or roles only. Conditional Access (Optional Future Extension): Combine permissions with conditions such as Company = X AND Role = Y for advanced control. Benefits: Improved Data Security: Sensitive design drawings remain visible only to relevant roles.
