It would be nice if the Issue list view on the ACC mobile app included locations, so that assignees working on multiple issues at the same time could easily determine which issue they wanted to open next. I.E. ID # 3259 means nothing to most people, but if you tell someone it's in Room 101, they will go there, fix it, close it, and then move to Room 102 to do the same thing, which could be ID # 1657. Currently, the mobile app just shows the next ID#, which is not always helpful. Show More

Currently, in the Model Coordination, clashes are no longer displayed as clashes once a task has been created for them, even if the task is still marked as open. This is incorrect in practice and leads to confusion, because clashes remain clashes until the task is completed/closed. Good morning.  Our organization is a national/international company and we have multiple branches with multiple customers - some who use the BuildingConnected platform for bid leads/solicitations, etc.   Our company is over 90 years old with many sales representatives and so by the time we realized that there was a not-so-friendly user issue with the BuildingConnected platform, many of our sales reps were already registering "outside" of our organization's correct profile (domain).   We have spent hours trying to correct this issue by requesting that the sales reps disassociate from the profile/domain that they inadvertently assigned themselves to as a result of registering via a BuildingConnected bid invitation, but many of them don't recall which agency they registered with and so in frustration, they remain assigned to the incorrect profile, and I am rendered unable to invite them to our organization's correct profile/domain.   Is there a way for the BuildingConnected team to create a rule such that when one of our sales reps receives a BuildingConnected email invitation from a customer/potential customer, he/she would not have the ability to create a new company profile when registering for the bid event - rather they would be automatically be directed to the correct company profile/domain?   We are doing our best at this point to get in front of this issue, but again, being a large organization with a continuous procession of sales reps leaving and new sales reps onboarding, it's hard to get in front of this issue.   Consideration to this idea is greatly appreciated! Currently, when filtering issues by role or company, only those issues directly assigned to that role or company are displayed, not those assigned to users belonging to that role or company. It would be nice to split out and have independent controls on issues permissions based on visibility and assignment. For my use case, I want a specific role to be able to see all issues (help prevent duplicates) but only be able to assign to their company. Current state to see all issues you then have rights to assign to anyone. Short term it could be solved by adding an entire company as a watcher, but unless you use templates (and depend on the user to select the template), there isn't a way to set a default watcher. Having view only full visibility and assign only to own company would resolve this.   An additional option would be where you can set a role to only be able to assign to a set list of roles.  Show More

I am a Project Manager, and when I create an issue, I place it on a large overall drawing sheet in Collections (Sheets) so we can view all issues in one consolidated drawing. However, the General Foreman typically places issues on a shop drawing sheet, which is smaller in scale and contains more detailed information. I’d like the ability to place an existing issue (already created and located elsewhere) onto another drawing without having to create a new issue. Currently, the asset markups on sheets do not automatically reflect the status of the pinned or linked issues associated with them. It would be highly beneficial if the markup color could dynamically change according to the status of the issues linked to that asset or room. For example, if a markup represents a room and all pinned issues tagged in that room are marked as “Closed”, the corresponding asset markup color should automatically update to a designated “Closed” color status. This visual indicator would help project teams quickly track progress and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders. Hi Autodesk, I have shared the idea previously to have the workflow template to ACC Forms, but i think it would be a great improvement if Issues and Assets in ACC also could have a workflow setup feature similar to the Submittals module.   Currently, these modules rely heavily on manual updates for statuses and responsible parties. While this works, it often requires constant follow-up or manual reassignment to ensure the process moves smoothly. A built-in step-based workflow would bring much more structure and automation to these areas.   Proposed idea: Allow admins to define workflow stages (e.g., Draft → Review → Action → Close) and assign users or roles to each step. When a user completes their part, they can simply click Submit or Move to Next Step, and the system will automatically transition the record to the next workflow stage and notify the responsible person or role. Benefits of this enhancement: Improved clarity: Everyone can clearly see who’s responsible for the current step and what comes next. Better accountability: Each participant has a defined action stage, minimizing confusion or missed updates. Workflow consistency: Aligns the process across different modules, creating a unified experience similar to Submittals. Reduced manual effort: Eliminates the need to manually reassign or update statuses. Stronger process control: Helps standardize review and approval processes, especially for larger teams and complex projects. Currently, in ACC it is only possible to associate a single model element with an Issue. The system only stores the Element ID or GUID of that one component. I suggest extending this functionality to allow multiple elements to be linked to a single Issue.   In the BCF standard, it is possible to store multiple GUIDs for a single Issue. Implementing similar functionality in ACC would not only align with the existing BCF standard but also improve interoperability between different platforms.   Benefits of this improvement: The assignee can immediately see which elements are affected by the Issue. In Revit, the related elements can be identified and reviewed more efficiently. The overall Issue management becomes more practical and transparent, especially for topics involving multiple elements (e.g. recurring design errors, clashes, or change orders). We utilize Issues to track our projects and use photographs to document progress on a weekly basis. At the end of the week, we run a PDF report to include the photographs for each Issue, which are usually tied to each room or major area throughout the site. It would be beneficial to have a feature where we can set a range of photos to limit the number of photographs that get published when a report is ran. For example, if an item is used to track progress over the span of 25 weeks, there would be at least 2 photos to document the state of the site for that given week; keep in mind that every Issue (for each room/area) on the report would have a similar number of photos. Having only the most recent 6 photos for each Issue would keep the report to a digestible length. Has anyone run into a similar issue?
