Add an Issue Notification option so users could be notified when a new Issue is created. Currently, outside of the Assignment and Watcher fields, there are no means to trigger notifications to members of the general contractor who is managing all Issues or interested consultants when an issue is created. Instead it's only if the issue has changed statuses or has been commented on (https://help.autodesk.com/view/BUILD/ENU/?guid=Issues_Notifications). Wherever it is possible to create custom attributes, e.g. files or issues it would be beneficial if the attributes of type dropdown can be configured so that they are either single-select or multi-select. This would allow us to flag issue that belong to multiple areas or categories. Show More

The Issues filter currently shows all Issue Types, regardless of if the Issue Category / Type is active. Users should only be presented with the Issue Types for which Issues have been created. This would result in far less scrolling for users and provide certainly as to which Issue Types have Issues.   Note: Simply showing only Active Issue Types would be misleading because it is possible that a project may have had an Issue Type enabled for which Issues were created, then inactivated the Issue Type. We create templates in Issues for punch lists and have different "watchers" and "assigned to" members, depending on the issue type, (Architectural, Civil, Structural, MEP, etc.).  When a draft issue is created in the field, we may still want to edit or review it when we return to the office, but members assigned in the "watcher" and "assigned to" fields have already received the notifications.  An issue that is in "draft" status should remain unsent like it does in Microsoft Outlook and should not send to anyone until the status has changed to "Open". Currently, we have the ability to bridge models from another ACC account for our own use, which is very helpful. However, for our project we create issues on our ACC and these are not accessible by the company who is bridging the models, it would be extremely valuable to also “bridge” issues back to the other ACC. Why This Matters Improved Collaboration: Linking issues between ACC accounts would greatly enhance collaboration with external partners. Seamless Issue Tracking: We could maintain a direct connection between internal and external issues, making it easier to manage and track progress across platforms. Leverage ACC Features: This would allow both teams to benefit from all the advanced ACC issue management features, without losing context or duplicating work. Suggested Enhancement Enable the ability to link or synchronize issues created in our ACC with their corresponding issues in external ACC environments. It would be very helpful to have a Notes or Description field within Issue Categories and Types setup. For example, when creating a type such as HSE – Near Miss, we could include a short explanation like “This type is used for reporting incidents with no injury or damage but with potential risk.” This feature would help project teams understand the purpose and correct use of each Issue Type, especially on large projects with multiple disciplines or contractors. It would also make template sharing and training easier, ensuring consistency and avoiding misuse of issue types.   Show More

The ability to add a "select visual" filter within an action to exclude deleted issues from both an Issues analysis and its published dashboard would be highly valuable.   An Issues Insight Builder analysis/dashboard currently displays deleted issues by default. Show More

As a site manager, I would like to be able to search the issue list for issues that do not have a location specified so that I can add one. A field for empty locations needs to be added to the filter option. Show More

No reset for filters on the issues when you are in a review. If you are looking at a particular custom field you have to redo the filter. It would be good for the filter to carry onto the next page.  Show More

If you select 4 issues and then export this - it would be good to have them on the full sheet and a list of issues on the side for those particular drawings. At the moment, we can just export a report but it doesn't show the full drawings. If there is 4 issues on the same drawing they are listed on 4 different pages.     Show More

In a large project, we need the issues for the review process. Each issue is assigned (placed) on a document. Unfortunately, it is not possible to filter the issues according to the placement. Therefore, all project participants (several hundred people) have to transfer the placement to the name every time they create an issue. This allows you to search for the name later and find all issues in one document. It would be much easier if we could filter the issues by placement. Show More

As a construction manager, I would like certain roles (e.g. subcontructor, clients) to be unable to create issues, even for their own company. The issues are included in the issue list and make it more confusing for me. This can also distort the results when evaluating the issues. Show More

Dear Autodesk ACC Development Team:  One Major ask from our Construction Team using ACC is the need to be able to view who created an issue on the Mobile App.  Currently there is no way to do this without using the web version.  If we had the ability to view the Issue's Activity log on the mobile app that would be even better.   Adding this feature would allow for better collaboration between the construction team and the person who raised the issue.   Thank you! It would be nice to be able to attach a hyperlink into a message or even include it within the project information within Building Connected.  For example, I was trying to conduct a virtual Pre-Bid meeting and wanted to send out a Microsoft Teams link and was not able to do so.  This is the same for any video conferencing services and would be nice to be able to send out meeting invites or any other link that would tie to a website or forum.  Hope this makes sense and hope to see this option in the future.   I see this text box even has an option to include a link, something like this would be beneficial.    Show More

During the UAT of the Issues Module in our project, we have identified a critical concern related to issue control and accountability on construction sites.   Observed Concern: We have observed that even after an issue is marked as Closed by the issue creator, the assignee is still able to reopen and modify the issue.   In construction workflows, once the issue is resolved and closed by the creator (typically the QA/QC or Safety team), no further edits or reopening by the assignee should be allowed unless explicitly permitted by the creator or an admin. The current setup undermines issue finality and opens up risks for misuse.   We request your support in addressing this concern. Specifically, we are looking for a solution that: Prevents the assignee (or any non-admin user) from reopening a closed issue. Ensures that only the issue creator or designated project admin has the authority to reopen a closed issue, if required.   Show More
