the only feature we use is plangrid type of features like viewing drawings and marking them up and adding issues to them etc. Would like access to this under ACC but the pricing i am finding would be too high because it is for way more features than we need. Show More

In ACC Docs you can view 3D Revit model but can you make possible to click on single component, isolate it in view and generate web link? It will help to share the component location with others rather than view entire 3D model of the building. Show More

It would be nice to have an auto trigger when packaging and sharing files through Design Collaboration that can update any attributes associated with the files. It could be part of the process when selecting the files, writing a description and then specifying which attributes need updating when sharing and ideal for ISO19650 processes. Hi all,    A valuable enhancement to the Design Collaboration timeline would be to clearly display details whenever a package is selected, specifically indicating: Shared Date and Shared By Consumed Date and Consumed By Currently, some users become confused as they only notice the date and overlook whether it refers to a package being 'shared' or 'consumed.' In light of the recent phishing emails sent from no-reply@autodesk.com (see the alert page) and as this has been an issue plaguing my client's company, I would like to request that a "Report this Document" feature be implemented. Docusign, DropBox, and other companies that do document shares have this on the landing page of their shares, so that if a user receives a document with just a link to a phishing site, they can report it to help speed up removal. We are architects working in ACC via design collaboration. Pain point - a user joins a new project, can access via revit, but links don't load because they have to go into desktop connector to add the new project in. It happens all the time for us. Idea - When a user is added into a project, desktop connector could have a pop up to say, 'You've been added to XXX new project, would you like to add this project to your selected projects?' it could have some spiel about links etc. and then it's the users own fault for not clicking ok. Feature request to add a search feature such that the user can type in something and all packages that have a matching name/description/model/file will be returned.  Or, to go a step further, add attributes to packages so you can tag them and filter/search for them easier.   For example, if you have a lot of teams that use Design Collaboration to manage DRBs, it would be useful to search "DRB 14" and have all packages for that deliverable be returned instead of needing to click on dozens/hundreds of packages to find the one you need.  Currently, the user would have to click on each package one-by-one until they find the one they need, which wastes a lot of time. Currently, once a template has been created from a Project that has Collaboration active in it, the user cannot easily go back into the Template and make changes to the setup for Collaboration. Folders can be moved and rename but this is a laborious process. Show More

In design collaboration model files require downloading to the platform through the swim lanes for hosting on the modeler's target folders, for linking to the in revit models. When right clicking on a file on ACC and the menu offers the choice to "open with", but only gives the standard option, seems pointless. For example, I have a dwg file I want to open. I want to open it directly to my desktop. Right click, open with, and I get one choice, to use the web app, which when I am in the field that's great, but I am sitting at my desk. So, I open with the web app, then have to re-open with desktop app, which requires another download, except it doesn't work due to a firewall constraint. And yes, I can use desktop connector as a work around, but so much simpler if the file just opened where and how I direct it.  Show More

ACC should support viewing MOV files via the web portal. iOS devices commonly use this format, and we have to convert videos from iOS devices to MP4 before uploading to ACC for viewing. Show More

We cannot edit docx and xslx files directly in ACC. We cannot add Issues directly in ACC in docx and xslx files. ACC should use openDocument formats and allow creation of Issues in document files. We can only add Comments in docx and xslx files, but Comments are not Issues, we can't add status to Comments, we cannot assign roles or users to Comments. We cannot filter Comments by status, by role or by user. We cannot create reports on those Comments, therefore we can't track Comments. Show More

There is a publish button directly in the interface for ACC, but why isn't there a Submit for review button? If we follow an ISO workflow, then there will be multiple reviews before we even think about publishing, but the review button is hidden away in the more menu.  Show More
