When working with the detail pane of the contract on the right side of the screen, certain tabs are irrelevant for some companies. Making the extent of all the tabs cumbursome to work with but you are also loosing oversight of what you should look at and what not.  Having the option to specify in the settings which tabs should always be visible by default for users and which don't need to be visible, would be interesting. Cost Management Product In the contract settings, we can currently fully lock a flyout after integration (thereby removing the ability to change anything) -or- we can lock the amount only - see snip.  My company opts to lock the amount only, as we sometimes need to change items in the flyout after sending (i.e. the contact name for the vendor, the work scope, etc.).  This allows us the flexibility we need to work with our vendors and get contracts executed.   This same setting is not currently available in the Change Management module for subcontract change orders (SCO) and I would like to request that it be implemented ASAP to allow for more flexibility than is currently available.  When an SCO is sent, it is frozen and we have no ability to change any aspect after integration.   Show More

In Cost, I created custom attributes that are required to be filled out to generate our Subcontract. However there is no "required" option when creating these attributes there for the subcontract still generates but is missing important information as it was not "required" for them to input the data. Request additional options for us to add statuses. We like to be able to track the status of the PCO/COR like “architect court”, “owner”, etc. Currently it’s not an option to override. We don’t mind the automation but would like to be able to override with a status that makes sense to us. Show More

We have Budget Codes that are non-billable, that we do not want to pull into the main contract.  It would be beneficial to have a Non-Billable "Scope" to select that would allow us to incur cost to the budget code, but not show in the Main Contract.   We also need a Scope for Budget Codes that have Budgets, but will not have any Subcontracts, SCO's or RFQ's (removes the Cost Status) but it is a Budget that only incurs expenses against it.   So, "Budget + Expenses".  Example, all of our Equipment budget codes we never write subcontracts, SCO's or RFQ's. When we create a PCO that includes Equipment cost we have to manually change the cost items that have Equipment to "Budget Only" since we will never be issuing a SCO to the budget code.  This closes out the PCO.  I need for a way to set a default scope to one that will not allow SCO's (Cost Status) but will allow expenses to hit the Budget Code.        Show More

As a company, we only want to use the Internal (INT) change order types for "In-Scope" PCO's, that bypass the OCO process.   If we would be able to select a default Scope for a Change Order type in the settings and templates, this would elevate our PM's from using Internal (Int) PCO's for other Scope types.   Show More

In order for a PR change to be a part of the contract documents (owner and subcontractor) it needs to be written into a change order.    In Cost right now if we use batch quotes and the sub clicks "close and no impact" the $0 cost doesn't move into the PCO to be able to write an owner CO or Sub Co. We have to manually add the cost item.    We'd like a more streamlined way to have $0 costs responses be tracked in the PCO with batch quotes and not having to manually add cost items or update their proposed cost to $0.  Show More

When viewing Cost Management from Chrome at 100%, the "Send" button is cutoff at the bottom of the popout (e.g. trying to send an OCO or SCO.)   To get to the "Send" button, you have to reduce the zoom scale on the browser to 90% or less.  These popouts should be rescaled, such that the entire popout can be viewed at 100%, and the "Send" button is accessible. To request an increase in the current Contract SOV limit per contract. The existing cap of 3,500 line items is proving to be a blocker for our client, as they need to set up a Contract SOV with over 13,000 line items. Increasing this limit would significantly support their ability to fully configure and utilize the system according to their operational requirements. Show More

My team and I would like the ability to both send a contract for signature and request supplier input within the same step to streamline the contract process. We begin by compiling the 6 documents that make up our contract using the document package.   After it is created, we would like to send our contract for signature. At the same time that the subcontractor is signing and returning the subcontract, we would also like them to be notified of the compliance requirements that we are requesting prior to my company then executing the contract, which includes the subcontractors Schedule of Values, W9, and Certificates of Insurance. We do not want to execute a contract until we have all of those compliance requirements.   The reason for this is because we do not want to "Request Supplier Input", meaning we have to wait around for the subcontractor to send in the compliance requirements (Schedule of Values, W9, and Certificates of Insurance) prior to then sending the contract for signature because this could then make it a lengthy process in terms of time.   The ability for a one step process to both request the specific compliance requirements from a subcontractor and putting the contract in front of them for signature would be the ideal way to streamline this process. In short there are views we have that we consider an internal Project view, but I don't want the owner to see.  I want to still be able to wipe columns off of it or filter it down some more.  I want people in my company to have a default view that is different from the default view the owner can see. Currently this is not possible.  We need to control what the owner see's and eliminate unnecessary questions.      Example: In the PCO screen the Scope means nothing to the owner and raises questions because they can see it, and we cannot hide the  but it means a lot to us.   If I can control the views that the owner can see it will allow us to enhance their experience and not cause us pain. With Mark-ups on Change orders- we usually keep the overall amount rounded to the nearest dollar by changing the amount of our fee. We still do need to see amounts less than a dollar in the system, but limiting amounts less than a dollar in our change orders makes budget management much easier.     The preferred method for us would be to have a mark-up  amount variable so that we can modify it to the nearest dollar.  Show More

A recent release in the Cost Management added budget amounts to the Change Order tools when selecting budgets- this way when you are selecting a budget you can see how much money is remaining in the budget. Currently it shows Revised Budget less Actual Cost. Can we change this to be Revised Budget minus projected cost?  This way we are moving money around based on what we think we will spend instead of what have spent.    Show More
