Cost Management Product In the contract settings, we can currently fully lock a flyout after integration (thereby removing the ability to change anything) -or- we can lock the amount only - see snip.  My company opts to lock the amount only, as we sometimes need to change items in the flyout after sending (i.e. the contact name for the vendor, the work scope, etc.).  This allows us the flexibility we need to work with our vendors and get contracts executed.   This same setting is not currently available in the Change Management module for subcontract change orders (SCO) and I would like to request that it be implemented ASAP to allow for more flexibility than is currently available.  When an SCO is sent, it is frozen and we have no ability to change any aspect after integration.   Show More

A setting needs to be added that will prevent Subcontractors from being able to bill for unexecuted SCOs.  Currently, if a SCO is in a "Sent" status it will automatically be added to the Sub Pay Application or they can select it and add it in.  Subs should not be allowed to bill for an SCO unless it has an executed status.  If that SCO has to be changed and it is already in a sub billing then it becomes tedious to have to revert back to detach it especially if integrated with the ERP. As a company, we only want to use the Internal (INT) change order types for "In-Scope" PCO's, that bypass the OCO process.   If we would be able to select a default Scope for a Change Order type in the settings and templates, this would elevate our PM's from using Internal (Int) PCO's for other Scope types.   Show More

Each time we send a contract we have to manually CC people and remember to do that. We want to be able to set default people for the CC line so we only have to set this up once. If we forget to CC someone on a contract, we don’t get the information we need to people that need it and it slows workflows. We are manually copying people. Show More

We would like to request to add calculation column functionality for custom attributes in change orders to automate calculations.     Custom calculation columns are currently not available for change orders. While custom attributes can be used with manual input, there is no way to create calculated fields that automatically compute values based on these custom attributes.     Therefore, we would like to add the ability to create calculation columns in change orders that can reference and perform mathematical operations on custom attributes, similar to how calculation columns work in other ACC modules (Budget Overview Columns)    This additional feature will eliminate manual calculation errors, reduce spent on repetitive calculations, improve data consistency across change orders and enable real-time updates when attributes value change.    Example:  Based on the screenshot above,    Custom Attribute 1: RAOV (Add) S$  Custom Attribute 2: RAOV (Omit) S$  Desired Calculation Column: "RAOV (Nett)" = [RAOV (Add) S$] + [RAOV (Omit) S$]     Current workaround issue of now is manual calculations in custom attributes which is prone to human error, inconsistent updates when source values change, time-intensive data entry and difficulty in maintaining accuracy across multiple change orders. So, it will be better if formula builder interface similar to the "Budget Overview Columns" is applicable to Change Orders as well. Thus, it will allow real-time calculation updates when referenced attributes change.   It is also good to have a support for basic mathematical operations (+,-,/,x) and to format results in currency, percentage or decimal places).    This new feature would significantly improve change order management efficiency and data accuracy for our project team.    Thank you.   Show More

We have Budget Codes that are non-billable, that we do not want to pull into the main contract.  It would be beneficial to have a Non-Billable "Scope" to select that would allow us to incur cost to the budget code, but not show in the Main Contract.   We also need a Scope for Budget Codes that have Budgets, but will not have any Subcontracts, SCO's or RFQ's (removes the Cost Status) but it is a Budget that only incurs expenses against it.   So, "Budget + Expenses".  Example, all of our Equipment budget codes we never write subcontracts, SCO's or RFQ's. When we create a PCO that includes Equipment cost we have to manually change the cost items that have Equipment to "Budget Only" since we will never be issuing a SCO to the budget code.  This closes out the PCO.  I need for a way to set a default scope to one that will not allow SCO's (Cost Status) but will allow expenses to hit the Budget Code.        Show More

With Mark-ups on Change orders- we usually keep the overall amount rounded to the nearest dollar by changing the amount of our fee. We still do need to see amounts less than a dollar in the system, but limiting amounts less than a dollar in our change orders makes budget management much easier.     The preferred method for us would be to have a mark-up  amount variable so that we can modify it to the nearest dollar.  Show More

When viewing Cost Management from Chrome at 100%, the "Send" button is cutoff at the bottom of the popout (e.g. trying to send an OCO or SCO.)   To get to the "Send" button, you have to reduce the zoom scale on the browser to 90% or less.  These popouts should be rescaled, such that the entire popout can be viewed at 100%, and the "Send" button is accessible. Right now, as someone who actively manages anywhere from 3-7 projects from beginning to end, I actively have a dozen browser tabs open in a constant pin-ball game back and forth between all the different jobs depending on the task. Sometimes you have to create a PCO with a large number of lines especially on large PCOs or where you need to be very detailed.  The other import functions in Autodesk are very useful.  It would be nice to have a similar function for PCOs.  This would allow a user to create all the PCO items in an excel template, ensure all budget codes are correctly allocated and double check all the values and ensure that all the items are in the desired order.  You can't easily re-order PCO items in a PCO.   Show More

Ability for Subcontractors who are collaborators to create unattached cost items on project. This feature would allow General Contractor to have ability to review, approve, or reject submitted cost items not associated with an RFQ. Once the cost item is approved, the general contractor can either create new PCO or attach to an existing PCO.   This would allow sub contractors to submit change orders that are not necessarily associated with RFQs but it informs General Contractor of all open and outstanding change orders from the subcontractor's log. Working from the Owner/Owners Rep perspective, the permissions for the PCO area are not as robust as required.    There have been several situations where the Owner of the ACC hub will not be creating their own PCOs and will instead allow the Builder/GC, Architect, etc. access to the PCO tab, or even choose to allow the subcontractor to access. The only permission setting for PCO is Full Control or View all, which would allow each Role to see others PCOs and this is not desired in most situations. The ability to set the  permissions to something similar to Issues where they can only see items created by or assigned to their company would be greatly appreciated and make for a more functional change order process.    Currently we are using a workaround where each Company would have a Saved View filtered for their own items, but this is a somewhat fragile system as it does not prevent someone from switching to another view.    Show More

Currently we would like to setup Change request workflows so they go to the appropriate team members for each review type.    Our CRs are split into cost banding which is easy to do but then they are further split down into the CR type, which is a current metadata field we have added e.g. Design, Operations, Customer change etc...    At the moment there is no field we can select to further split these out. If custom metadata fields could be added this would really enhance the CR customisation and make it easier to direct the CRs to the appropriate technical reviewers Show More

In projects typically project risks are identified in the early stages of the project and may materialise into a PCO / CO and then ultimately a project cost. We are using the Signing feature through Autodesk but realized that suppliers can still invoice against change orders that are not fully executed. That should not be the case. Once executed they should be able to bill against it, but not before that.  Show More
