When submitting a new approval, the submitter can type anything into the Project Name. The different variations on project names will lead to a highly unorganized RMP Tracking system. Would a drop down menu be possible? I know this would take some legwork internally. Adding a project number field could also fix this issue. Show More

I am a Precon manager for a general contractor and would like to know why I can not respond directly to the person via email when they submit their proposal via building connected. Since they submitted thru building connected, I receive the email notification as shown below and to avoid more button click and having to go to BC and create a new message, I want to be able to quickly respond to this email below and acknowledge that I have received it and maybe ask them a couple quick questions.     I do not want to have to go to building connected and send them a direct message since the message is not tied to their submission, I want to be able to reply directly to the submission. I wouldn’t mind doing this if I can click on the notification when they submitted and directly respond to that but it does not allow me too. I want to be able to click this button and have it potentially open a message box to allow me to respond and say thank you.       Show More

We'd like to have the ability to add subcontractor proposals to bid packages without the system automatically generating a new ITB email to the sub. My company will occasionally invite subcontractors to one bid package, and they end up bidding more than one. To accurately track received proposals for reports, we then have to add the sub to the all additional bid packages and manually upload their proposal to each one. When we do this, they receive a new ITB email for each package and question why they are receiving the ITB when they've already submitted a proposal. We are experiencing the same issue with projects that we designate as "discoverable in the project plan room" and receiving proposals from subs who were not originally invited.     It would be helpful to have an additional option to simply upload a received proposal without generating a new ITB. Or to be able to add the subcontractor to a bid package and be prompted by the system to choose whether or not we want to send an ITB to them or upload a document/notes.     Show More

First, Building Connect is great and serves our company well.  One thing we see that would be a massive benefit, is to have an integration with a company like DocuSign.  Several of our customers require a wet signature NDA or Docusign.  We would love a way to make this mandatory before the can view the project.  I know you currently off an option where they do a check box and accept the NDA but that is sufficient for our clients.  After doing this, we then have to email them separately to get a wet signature or Docusign.  Thank you for this consideration and interested to hear your feedback. Is there any way that a modification can be made to allow Companies to change their logo based on office location?  Currently, one logo appears on all bid invitations.  However, with some GCs, the logo can vary by region.  Thanks! Show More

Is it possible to move the "Discoverable" status option down a level in order to be able to apply the setting on a per Bid Package basis?  There are instances where a GC will have a list of known bidders to invite for certain trades but would like to accept bids from anyone for other trades. Hello,    Can a feature be made that let's the signature transpose onto the NDA that will make it legally binding? I know that BC says it is, but having a signature that each GC would be able to print out for legal purposes would be great. It would be helpful to have an available report or to add a new symbol for the status field to indicate if a subcontractor has clicked the "unsubscribe" link.  If we had the ability to see if they unsubscribed vs just showing an "invalid email" symbol, we could better optimize the bid packages rather than waste time trying to diagnose if there is a true IT issue with them receiving ITBS or if they just no longer want to receive them.  Show More

As an IT support administrator for our Building Connected platforms, I currently support two separate business units. To effectively assist both, I require access to multiple hubs within the platform. At present, I can only access one hub per account, which limits my ability to provide timely support and often necessitates contacting BC support for additional assistance.   Moreover, several of our employees also support multiple business units and similarly need access to multiple BC hubs. Currently, we must create separate email accounts for these users—one per hub—which poses a security risk flagged by our Security team. This practice is not ideal and is discouraged on the Autodesk side, as it leads to confusion with multiple credentials, forgotten accounts, and potential security vulnerabilities.   We would greatly appreciate an enhancement that allows users (both IT admins and employees) to access multiple Building Connected hubs using a single account. In BuildingConnected's "Bid Leveling" you can toggle most times on or off to include them in the leveled price or not. But, you cannot toggle items in the "Other Costs" section. Ideally you could toggle "Other Costs" items also. Show More

Hi all,  I'm a land surveyor, I do construction staking. I get invited to all kinds of jobs through this site, it's great. But it's time consuming to bid the same job for the same price, with the same qualifications and insurances to each individual general contractor. From my perspective, this site has great potential for sub contractors but falls short. Ideally the owner or developer would post the job, sub contractors in the area would be notified and have an opportunity to place a bid for their services, including their qualifications and insurances. Then the general contractors could incorporate those bids into their final bid. Of course there needs to be opportunities for price changes due to addendums and such. Right now I have to wait until the bid due date is nearly elapsed in order to not have to re submit my bid due to a change that does not affect me. If I submit a bid when the job first arrives I have to re submit over and over again, for every addendum. In short I just want to look at the plans and post a bid, list my qualifications, and be done, maybe even get the job.  Show More

In BuildingConnected platform, currently, when a subcontractor or a vender receives a bid invite from a General Contractor, they can only see the bid package name. It will be beneficial for them to see the bid package number as well, since this number option could be used to directly refer to the Specification division number for the relevant bid package from the tender documents. That way, the subcontractors/venders can be easily directed for the correct specification division. Show More

On the website, companies are limited on what type of work they perform. For example, we are a scaffolding company and there are things that we do that a GC may not search by "scaffolding". For example, some of the things we would like added would be: Trash Chute, Temporary Hand Rails, Dance Floor, Swing Stage, Stair Tower, and Overhead Protection. There are probably others I am not thinking of right now, but these are the main categories that we handle.  Show More
