Currently, we are setting up Assets for Rooms and Doors on projects to track progress visually within sheets thanks to the unique colours that can now be assigned to each. One thing that we currently aren't able to extract is a % of progress complete. In order to achieve this, we are having to extract the data from ACC Build and build a custom Power BI report for each project. In the Power BI report I have given each status a value for percentage complete and then we are calculating the overall percentage complete. It would be nice if this functionality was available in ACC Build because then we would not require custom Power BI reports for each project. Additionally, it would be nice if we could have a default report based on filters that show the counts of assets based on category and status. Show More

I would like to suggest an improvement regarding the way assets can be selected in 3D models and Civil 3D files. At the moment, the lasso tool allows mass selection of multiple assets when using asset annotations, which is very efficient. However, this option does not exist when working directly in model sheets: assets can only be selected one by one. This limitation is a real productivity issue. In practice, assets are created and managed directly from models or Civil 3D files, not from annotations. Forcing users to place and reposition annotations just to be able to select assets in bulk is time-consuming and unnecessary. Suggestion: Extend the lasso (and box) multi-selection capability to assets directly in 3D models and Civil 3D sheets. This would allow true mass selection of assets in their native environment, making asset management much faster and more efficient. Show More

Currently, there’s no direct automation where selecting an element in the Asset Model Viewer automatically updates its status. It would be very useful to have the ability to click or toggle an element’s status directly upon selection, instead of manually editing it through the details panel. This feature would greatly improve efficiency during reviews and progress tracking sessions. Show More

Add notifications for Asset activity, including asset creation, status changes and editing with the ability to control which users receive notifications. This would improve efficiency on projects that use Asset progressing. Show More

We are starting to do more joint venture work and want to make sure all invited trade partners know there are two General Contractors involved on the project. If one of them sends out the invite it will only reflect their logo in the invite and the other. The only workaround we found was adding both General Contractors names to the project name but then that makes the project name very long. Having a joint venture logo on the invites would be much more impactful. If there is way to add this functionality, it would great! Show More

Instead of importing assets on a per-project basis by mapping Revit properties, it should be possible to import them through a predefined Revit schedule, especially when the same asset types are managed across multiple projects. Provided that a category or subcategory & any relevant properties are defined in the Schedule, there appears to be no significant barrier to enabling this functionality. Third party tools have existed for years that allow the export of Revit properties, and the underlying principle in this scenario is no different. Show More

In BIM 360 there used to be the option to not have the all assets listed in one long list not several pages. It would be beneficial to have this option also in ACC mostly when it comes to selection.  Show More

When creating assets from multi-discipline models, it would be highly beneficial to view the colored assets in a unified 3D view within the aggregated Model Coordination 3D view. This capability would provide project or BIM managers with a quick and comprehensive overview of all disciplines across different federated models—without the need to switch between individual models. We use assets custom attributes dropdown fields to ensure valid inputs parameters. Unfortunately there is currently a maximum of 150 different values and it is not possible to create more. As we work with large datasets (mainly model/component numbers), we would need this limit to be removed or raised. Show More

Customer asked to have full detail report (including all Issue data, forms data, photos, RFI, etc. (not just hyperlinks)) on a report like embedded references. It is not possible to create a report from an Asset including all detailed information from all references linked to that particular Asset.     Show More

Currently, ACC Assets can be managed within Autodesk Construction Cloud, but there is no native way to sync this data back into Revit. This feature would be highly beneficial for workflows where asset information needs to be updated in the Revit model, ensuring consistency between design and asset management. I propose adding a direct integration that allows ACC Assets parameters to be pushed back into Revit through a built-in sync option. This would streamline data management and reduce manual effort. We need the ability to link assets during import with existing assets. This means that the asset already exists in the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) before there is even a 3D object associated with it. Using the unique AKS number that we assign in the model and to the assets, the linkage could be performed during import.   Currently, when I create a mapping between the model and assets, all objects are created anew, even though I get the same name from the model as the existing asset. Therefore, it is not possible to link the model with existing assets. In planning, it is illogical to manage an asset only when everything is fully modeled, as we need to create many specifications and designs for it in advance.   At present, the only solution is to handle everything in Excel beforehand and then start the import into assets once everything is complete.   Show More

When creating a custom field in Assets, the dropdown types include 'Numeric', but there is no ability to perform calculations with a Numeric field. Ideally, there would be a field type that allowed calculations using other Numeric fields from the asset list. Show More

In the ACC Mobile App, the assigned location for assets is not fully displayed. This leads to confusion, especially when there are multiple rooms with the same name (e.g., “Storage Room”) in one building. Suggestions: Show the full location path (e.g., “Building A > 2nd Floor > Storage Room”) directly in the object view. (For Issues, the location display already works well – the full location path is shown) At minimum, include the floor level to help distinguish between similar locations. This would greatly improve clarity and usability, especially for field teams working on-site. Show More
