Using Building Connected, if one wants to create a "Bidders" Report with the client, we have to utilize on of the existing options and spend considerable time hiding all the invitees for each company for each bid package.
You see, if one adds more than one contact at a company then all contacts show up. The work around is to print the "Formatted Bidders List", using Bluebeam to convert the report to a excel file, then remove all invitees for each company. This is in an attempt to only show the Company that one wants to solicit for each bid package rather than each company plus all invitees. This is a non-value add that a client does not care about. Why would a client care whom at the company, that we are reaching out to?
Clients are only concerned with what company(s) are invited to each bid package, not all invitees per each company. If this could become a standard report, significant hours can be saved from having to make considerable modifications to each company for each bid package in excel.
The fact that no-one has requested this is crazy!
