Most projects that require concrete demolition require scanning of the concrete with GPR to locate embedded items. This helps prevent damage to utilities or other embedded objects. Elevated concrete slabs contain reinforcement like post-tension cables, which are critical parts of the building's structural system. Cutting these can injure workers and cause significant damage. Our company offers these services but currently has no opportunities listed for us to bid on. Instead, we search for opportunities like "Concrete Saw-Cutting" or "Electrical" to submit bids. This causes confusion for the estimators because we are bidding in specific categories but not for the scope requested.
