Folder Permissions by Company in Project Template

Our firm uses folder permissions by Company (primarily) to specify who has Edit access to particular folders. It would be great if we could preset those folder permissions in our project template. Currently we are limited to specifying permissions by Role. It works that way once the project has been created. But it would save a bunch of time if we could save it in our template.

Agreed.  At the very least, if we are allowed to add members to the project template, we should be able to preset company permissions per the members added.

I fully agree with this request, and I think it should go beyond just folder permissions. The same principle applies to other ACC modules where rights and responsibilities are assigned. For example, in Issues, we often need to set company-based permissions so that only certain parties can create, edit, or close issues.

I agree with the idea.
It's inconvenient that settings available in projects aren't available in project templates.
