File Information popup in ACC Viewer to view file meta data (description, date added, etc.)

File Information popup in ACC Viewer to view file meta data (description, date added, etc.)

Add a 'file information' icon to the top bar of the ACC Viewer, which when opened will display a popup containing the file information.

This is a simple addition, which would assist the useability of the platform. Currently we spend a lot of time closing files and reopening to view the related meta data (even such as the description tag which is used for the drawing name, also the date added etc.)

Every time the file is closed and the user is returned to the list view it is then sometimes difficult to find the file that was opened. Having the information available within the viewer itself would be much more helpful to our users.

A mockup of what this could look like is below:

Great idea. Some info exists in the version drop down. But this could be enhanced to include description etc.

There is also a lot of space (on web) to show some of this info without the need for more clicks/dropdowns.

Thanks

We did not expect there would be such limitations... All main metadata should be displayed in the drawing viewer (Drawing Ttile/Revision/Status etc.) it is crucial for our Document Control Quality Assurance Checks and in general to know all Status and Information of documents.

I would suggests this to not be an additional window you click on. This should be embedded in the top ribbon in a row.

Asite has this fully resolved.
