Dear Autodesk Team,
I’d like to share a suggestion regarding the Submittal Module within Autodesk Build. I recently explored the feature that allows users to customize the dashboard view by rearranging submittal information columns—such as Title, Ball in Court, ID, Type, Manager, etc.—using the gear icon. This functionality is a great step toward improving user experience and workflow efficiency.
However, I noticed that once you navigate away from the dashboard, the customized column arrangement resets to the default layout. This means that any time spent tailoring the view to suit individual or project-specific needs is lost, requiring users to repeat the setup process each time they return.
Given that the platform already allows users to create a personalized dashboard layout, I believe it would be highly beneficial to also provide the option to save these preferences. This enhancement would not only streamline daily operations but also reinforce the value of customization within the platform.
I raised this concern with Andrew E. from your Chat Customer Support team (ACC Case Number 02163413), who confirmed that this functionality is not currently available. I was encouraged to submit this idea directly to your R&D team via the provided link, and I appreciate the opportunity to do so.
