Currently you cannot Edit the Status Set of an Asset. If you mistakenly apply the Status Set, you have to delete the Asset and remake it to change the Status Set. See the attached image for context.
Understanding that you can change the Category which controls the Status Set, there can be use cases for different subcategories within a Category requiring different Status Sets. i.e. Equipment, with some items requiring different Status options. Depending on how you are using Categories, it may not conform to the workflow as it is designed.
Hello, Status Sets are assigned to Asset Categories which are then assigned to specific Assets. In order to change a status set of an asset, you have 3 options: 1. Change the Status Set assigned to the asset category in Settings > Categories 2. Change Status Set options assigned to your Asset Category in Settings > Status Sets 3. Change the Category assigned to the specific Asset that contains your new status options.
