Desktop Connector - Project Selection Search

Desktop Connector - Project Selection Search

The Desktop Connector is a valuable tool, enabling users to selectively sync current projects and thereby conserve local storage space. However, the process of scrolling through an extensive list of projects, especially when the number exceeds 200, proves to be inefficient and time-consuming. This challenge is particularly pertinent for roles such as BIM Managers, Project Managers, Contractors, and Technical Reviewers, who often manage numerous projects.
To enhance the user experience, integrating a search functionality within the interface is recommended. This search feature should provide a Limited or Targeted Search capability, effectively narrowing down the available project selections. Such an improvement would significantly streamline the process of selecting or deselecting projects for synchronization, thereby optimizing efficiency and user satisfaction

This is already on the roadmap, and 'in progress' apparently. Although I have seen the naming standards feature in progress for some time too.

This would be a very welcome enhancement. We have over 600 projects, and it's quite hard to find your own projects at the moment.

Or at least a sort option. Doesn't make sense to put the newest created projects at the bottom of the list.
