Cost - Allow Batch Quote No Cost to move into PCO

Cost - Allow Batch Quote No Cost to move into PCO

In order for a PR change to be a part of the contract documents (owner and subcontractor) it needs to be written into a change order.

In Cost right now if we use batch quotes and the sub clicks "close and no impact" the $0 cost doesn't move into the PCO to be able to write an owner CO or Sub Co. We have to manually add the cost item.

We'd like a more streamlined way to have $0 costs responses be tracked in the PCO with batch quotes and not having to manually add cost items or update their proposed cost to $0.

Hello Krystal, the whole intent of batch create is to find out if someone is affected and only create cost items if they are so you don't end up with a long list of $0 cost items in a PCO and only have ones with positive values.

If you do need to have a long list of $0 cost items it sounds like you would be better off not using batch create and just send regular RFQs to the subs

We would like an option to turn off this “Close at no impact” button for collaborators and enforce that they need to propose a price in the RFQ.

Then we can continue to use the “Batch RFQ” option like we do today, but this would now force the subs to always provide a price even if it is $0 and that will create the $0 cost item in the PCO for each sub like you want.
