We have trade partners that have not moved to the Revit platform and are still using AutoCAD (in various flavors) to create their 3D content. Here locally, this is common for Fire Protection and Underground Utilities (generally "wet" utility piping like Storm, Sanitary, Water, Gas, etc.).
It would be very beneficial if there was an Issues/Coordination plug-in for AutoCAD and Civil3D similar to the plug-in for Revit that would allow the modelers to see the issues within their authoring model.
