Bulk add members to a new project via role hierachy (Team Lead → Automatic Team Inclusion)

Currently, adding members to a new project in ACC requires inviting each user individually. This becomes time-consuming and error-prone in larger organizations where teams are structured under leads or managers and we can easily forget to add a member. 

 

Proposed Features:
Introduce a tool to be able to bulk add members : 

  • Option 1 : using roles from the account admin or companies : add by role or company. 
  • Option 2 and more accurate : a hierarchical member management. This tool allows admins to previously create teams and set the hierarchy under the account admin module. Then by inviting only a team lead to a project, you automatically add and invite all users linked to that team lead’s group. This will allow users to easily manage invitations to new projects and maintain the hierarchy so that updates in the account admin (adding/removing team members) easily sync with the project members. 

Example Use Case:
When adding “Member A – Project Manager” to a new Project, the system would automatically invite all members in his team (e.g., 8 superintendents, 2 foremen, etc) with the correct inherited roles and permissions, as defined in the account admin.
