Submitting a bid does not mean a job is finished. Contractors often wait days or weeks to hear back, but BuildingConnected currently forces jobs to be “closed,” which removes them from active tracking.
Requested changes:
Add a “Pending” status for bids that have been submitted but not yet awarded or rejected.
Create a simple “Pending Jobs” tab that shows all open bids awaiting response.
Allow users to keep these jobs visible so they can follow up with owners or GCs without fully closing the project.
In building connected under the closed projects, you should be able to filter by awarded.
