The Bid Leveling tool currently does not have any way to assign a "review" status to bids that are submitted. In other words, if a vendor submits a bid there is no way to tell if someone on our team has actually reviewed that bid without running some kind of external tracking sheet. This status tracking is an important part of the bid management workflow and would ideally be handled within BC. This could be accomplished within Building Connected with adding these status options to the drop down menu next to each bidder's company name in the bid leveling tab:
- Bid Submitted - Not Reviewed (this would be the default status when a bid is submitted)
- Bid Submitted - Leveling In Progress
- Bid Submitted - Leveling Complete
Additionally, adding the stats for each of the bid review statuses above to the bid packages summary page (next to the number of bids submitted for each package) would be a great feature.
