Assets mapping

When using a standard configuration of parameters in a Revit file and using the same "custom fields" in tha asset module of ACC, it should be possible to automate this. In that case the mapping should not be done every time when uploading a new version or file.

Hi @christin.verhaeghe5LUKU ,

Mappings on model files should persist between model versions. Can you give more detail on the challenges you're running into?

Hi @robert_smith,

What I was thinking about is when you have parameters in Revit like "Brand, Zone, Manufacturer, ..." and you have the same parameters inside ACC assets (see image attached. it would be interesting that a user don't have to link both every time again, that this is done automatically

Yes, Yes, Yes.  There needs to be a way to setup a mapping template.  I have the same arrangement as Christin above, where our REVIT template is configured to have the same families and share parameters for every model we produce (this would be the same for most users) and our Build template has the same custom fields for every project.  What we need is a way to create a map template so that we only have to map these once, with only minor adjustments for each new project, rather than spending up to 2hrs to create the mappings for each new project.
