Apple Pencil Support

I’m trying to markup PDFs stored in ACC in the field for surveys. I am using the pen tool in conjunction with an Apple Pencil and a latest-gen iPad Pro, and the program is very unresponsive to the apple pencil’s touches. For example, if I try and draw the number 5, the bottom half will register, but I’ll have to come back to draw the top half. It often doesn’t register the first touch of the pencil, leading to illegible handwritten numbers and text.

From what I understand, Apple Pencil is currently not supported by ACC, so I would like to request this feature to allow this product to be more useful to us in the field.

I'm one of the product managers for Markups in ACC. Thank you for posting about this issue. We're currently working on some improvements to better support the Apple Pencil for markups. We hope to release this very soon, and I will post it again when it's live!

Hi! We’re excited to hear that Apple Pencil support is coming soon. Any idea on when? Just today I tried to use Apple Pencil while annotating a PDF and doesn’t quite work yet. First it works nicely, but as soon as you undo or change the tool, the Apple Pencil stops responding.

Any update on this? I am still finding this isn't working on the ACC App on my IPAD Pro. I am not using a Apple Pen but a Yottn Stylus pen.

On my side, the apple pencil works but it skips letters when writing fast...

We are having the same problem: 'shotgrid doesn't recognize the apple pen on my ipad to sketch'
