Need:
ACC is the project’s single source of truth, but there’s no central way to share urgent information (HSE alerts, workflow changes, site rules). Updates get lost in emails or WhatsApp.

Feature Concept:
Add a Project Announcements function with:

• Login Pop-Up for urgent notices.
• Dashboard Bulletin Board visible on the project home screen.
• Targeted Distribution to all users or selected roles/companies.
• Expiry & Acknowledgement Tracking for compliance and audit.
• Multi-Format Support (text, images, PDFs, links).
• Mobile Push Notifications for emergencies.

Use Cases:

• HSE safety alerts and toolbox talk summaries.
• Site access/security changes.
• Contractor KPI warnings.
• Document control or naming convention updates.
• Emergency response procedures.

Benefits:

• Ensures everyone sees critical info on login.
• Improves safety, compliance, and auditability.
• Reduces duplicated communication across channels.
• Makes ACC the daily go-to hub, not just a filing system.

Implementation (phased):

1. Bulletin board widget on dashboard.
2. Add expiry & acknowledgement tracking.
3. Mobile push notifications.

I once had a case where a partial scaffold had to be withdrawn from use due to a defect until it was rectified, and I wondered how I could communicate this to everyone involved via build. I could have really used the proposed function for this.

This is really good idea!! I love it! In my company we do not use ACC for any EHS scope, we use Inndex as it is specialized platform for EHS. If we wait ACC to bring any new features we need, we will wait very long time.

And please do not forget the equivalent needs that has an account admin. The same capacities are also critical from a HUB manager point of view.
