Allow Forwarding of Single Contributor Forms for Assistance Without Changing Template Type

Description:
Currently, when a form is set to Single Contributor, there is no way to forward it to a colleague for help or input without changing the template to Collaborative. This limitation creates unnecessary friction in workflows where the contributor may need assistance—for example, uploading images, linking to other forms or issues, attaching documents, or simply getting a second opinion before submission.

I propose adding a feature that allows a Single Contributor form to be temporarily forwarded to another user for support or review, without altering the template type. This would streamline collaboration in real-world scenarios where contributors may be unsure or require help to complete a form properly.

Benefits:

  • Reduces the need to modify templates just to enable collaboration
  • Saves time and simplifies workflows
  • Encourages better documentation and quality control
  • Maintains the integrity of the Single Contributor logic while allowing flexibility

Suggested Implementation:

  • Add a “Forward for Assistance” or “Request Input” option in Single Contributor forms
  • Allow temporary access for the selected user to contribute or review
  • Log the action for traceability
  • Ensure the original contributor retains ownership and responsibility for final submission
