Currently, ACC provides basic measurement tools for distances and areas through manual drawing. I suggest expanding this capability with the following options:
Manual Area Measurement (Similar to Existing Tool):
Allow users to manually draw a custom boundary or region and receive an instant calculation of the enclosed surface area.
Component Face Area Calculation:
Enable users to select a building component (such as a wall, floor, ceiling, or panel) and then click on one of its faces to automatically calculate and display the area of that specific surface.
This feature would be especially valuable for workflows related to interior finishing, curtain wall systems, and painting/waterproofing quantity takeoffs — all of which rely heavily on accurate surface area data.
