- Problem statement: Not everyone has access to comments that have been posted for each file in a review process. Contractor needs to send entire list of documents with respective comments to subcontractors (they don’t have access to our hub).
- Desired action/outcome: Business requires a new column added automatically in Docs folders. If a comment has been done for one document this will be shown directly attached to the document itself.
- Current issue/challenges: ACC doesn’t work with metadata attached to documents, so users need to export Logs and then see parallelly the PDF document to check which comment is linked to which technical sheet (PDF)
Current workaround: In order to see comments linked to documents, contractor is exporting the Review Report; then he/she merge this list to Files Logs. Then subcontractor needs to read each line and identify the PDF to see content inside
