It would be very helpful to have a Notes or Description field within Issue Categories and Types setup.
For example, when creating a type such as HSE – Near Miss, we could include a short explanation like “This type is used for reporting incidents with no injury or damage but with potential risk.”
This feature would help project teams understand the purpose and correct use of each Issue Type, especially on large projects with multiple disciplines or contractors.
It would also make template sharing and training easier, ensuring consistency and avoiding misuse of issue types.
