Ability to modify assets by clicking on them in model

I am using the Assets tool to track the status of fabrication duct and pipe with options such as "fabricated, installed, tested" etc. This works great on ACC's mobile viewer except for when you want to change the status of a specific object. There needs to be the ability to click on an object in the Assets view and be able to change the status rather than clicking through the Assets list hoping you land on the correct objects. Thanks!

Status changed to: Implemented

Hi @rrogersRM ,

This feature is supported today, though you might need to change your selection setting in the viewer. If you tap on the menu in the viewer, you will see an option called "Settings". There is a way to change the selection mode. Depending on your model, it may need to be set to a different mode (Leaf Object or First Object).

Give this a try and see how it works.

Thank you!

@robert_smithyep, that was the issue! Thanks!

This should also resolve my other issue with the extended properties:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/acc-ideas/fabrication-parts-additional-properties-on-the-acc-nwcs-nwd...

However, I have noticed that even with the "feet and fractional inches" selected, there are still properties that only show in decimal and the values are incorrect.

For example, on ACC, the length of this duct is shown as 4.1 feet (4'-1 3/16"), but in reality, it is 4'-11". Ideally, I would be able to send over this model to a foreman or fabricator and they could click on each duct and fitting to get the properties from their mobile device without needing to contact the detailer (myself) or producing extremely detailed shop drawings. It would also be nice if they were displayed in feet and fractional inches instead of decimal feet, or have an option to choose. Thanks!
