Xref attached with Autodesk docs points to previous saved C:\ of colleagues and requires relink after opening

Good afternoon.

We have recently moved onto the autodesk construction cloud for productivity, however, each time a colleague opened and saved a drawing the xref's remembers their autodesk desktop connector file path and I have to go and relink all the xrefs.

Is there a way to link it to the actual file in the cloud so that it will not remember anyone's C: path, or perhaps an alternative way of doing it?

Looking forward to your response.

Kind regards
Hugo

Hi,

from now, use relative path type for xrefs.

and life with the negative trouble with relative pathes then.

(If you move a mainfile to another folder level, the xref will not found)
