Hi @emanuelfrancoHC2Y4 ! Thanks for your question.
Specifications is a new tool in Autodesk Build and Autodesk Docs that is powered by Autodesk AI to automatically section specification documents for easy navigation throughout the project lifecycle. It provides easier accessibility for all project stakeholders, from preconstruction to handover in its own designated area of the platform, making it easier to find and more intuitive to interact with.
The Specifications tool highlights relevant data from project specifications for easier accessibility and navigation, while in the office and field. The tool is an easy, platform-integrated solution with streamlined data connection and flexible searchability, helping teams reduce wasted time looking for the right information. This increased visibility of data helps teams more informed business decisions and reduce liability.
Depending on where you are coming from, the Specifications tool currently supports CSI MasterFormat (which is prevalent in North America) as well as CAWS (cause) and UniClass (which are primarily used in the EU) and will also support generic formats that will include infrastructure specifications.
Another great advantage is that with the recent product release of Specifications in Autodesk Docs and Autodesk Build in March, project members, with certain permission levels, can also publish PDF files from the Files tool into the Specifications tool for a more connected end-to-end project experience in a single CDE.
Let me know if you still have questions.
