Project template missing the DOCS module

Hi,

I have created a new project template from scratch and the module DOCS is not showing/missing.

I have assigned product and permissions to members, both Docs and Build.

Where did I go wrong or is there something I have to activate in addition to the product and permissions?

I hope sombody can help me quickly with this issue.

Best Regards

Anne

Hi @abUXNMQ

I replicated your process and the same thing happened!

For the Project Admin activate all Product access and refresh the page. In my case it solved the problem. After that you can disable Product access for the products that you don't want.

Hi,

Thank you for the quick reply. I changed the setup as you suggested, but unfortunately it did not solve the problem on my part.

Do you have any other suggestions for problem solving?

Did you refresh the page after activating all Product access?

It's seams like a bug to me, so no straightforward solution.

Yes, and I tried it twice, just to make sure

@abUXNMQ

Sometimes it takes some tries to get it to work.

I noticed that changing a member from project admin to project member can also help.

Has I said, this seems to be a bug and with no direct solution.

Hi, I'm facing the same issue here. None of the solutions work for me. Has there been any news on this topic? several projects showing the same issue.

Same problem and none of the solutions is working. The video above cleary shows it's a bug. Why is Autodesk not addressing this 1 year later?

How do you know that they aren't working on it?

Actually, in my case the problem was that I was not looking in the right place. There is member of the project and members that can "edit" the template. We need to activate docs in the second one that we access by going to settings and permitions... I had to book and helpdesk apointment and only end up finding the solution before the meeting by viewing an hour long tutorial on Bridge...

I closed the ticket and told Autodesk that it's completely stupid to have the Doc's moduled closed by default. They told me to put my ideia in their ideia forum... when this is a correction they should correct quietly and internally...

Anyway, thank you for the message. This way I was able to update this thread with just another not so obvious solution, for any other struggling user out there.
