Poor quality of mesh and texture in ACC-viewer

Hi all,

I'm struggling with the quality of a textured mesh in the Autodesk Construction Cloud viewer. I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.

I created a textured mesh from PointCloud data and used Blender to create an FBX file from it. I then appended the FBX file in Navisworks. After adjusting the texture size and geometry settings, I achieved a quite good mesh, as shown in the first attached snapshot.

However, when I publish this Navisworks file as an NWD file to the ACC project, the quality of the mesh and texture is lost, as shown in the second attached snapshot.

Am I missing some settings, or is this just a limitation of the ACC viewer? If so, has anyone found a workaround?

Thank you in advance!

I don’t know for sure, but I recall an Autodesk SME described the model viewer on ACC / BIM360 as a lighter or stripped down version of Navisworks. I suspect it’s a system limitation.

But then I’ve only seen photogrammatic models on ACC once or twice and am no expert and they were quite small
