Hello, I am trying to convert our commissioning process to ACC Build. As it stands now, for every asset on a project we have a PDF form that has been generated and uploaded to forms.

Ideally, issue will be created for each uncompleted form assigned to the commissioning team. After the completion of each form, I would like the issue to be resolved and for the status of the asset to be changed to "Installed"

Is there a way to automate tasks like these? Thank you for any help.

Hi Parker,

Thanks for the feedback. I will add this to our Ideas section.
We currently don't have an in-product automation; however, this can be achieved through our open API's (https://aps.autodesk.com/blog/bim-360acc-relationships-api).
Some common questions that do arise are listed below:

  • Which checklist trigger what status change
  • (Similar to your "installed" status update) Is there a min/max # of issues per checklist that should not trigger a status change?
  • Do "In Review" or "closed" forms trigger a status change

Last in the short term You can also consider having a status update as part of the form as the final step for the person working the checklist.

Best,
