I have a project where we require a custom Revit parameter to identify which design package an element is associated with. This parameter is called "Package Name" and we require that it is surrounded with <>. Where there are multiple design packages we separate them with a semicolon.
For example, a representative property could be <IFC>;<DRB-1>;<DRB-2>
When I view a model in ACC's model viewer, this property is blank except for the semicolons.
When I view the model in Navisworks, however, the property is fully populated.
Can someone tell me why this is and help me figure out how to see the full property in ACC?
Most of the other properties do come through on ACC, but it's out my hands whether the properties use special characters or not so I was hoping that wouldn't be the case.
It's not really special characters that caught my eye. It's the use of these particular ones. Revit uses that combination for system stuff, line styles for example. Thought it might be worth testing just to rule it out.
