Keep Markups on 2D designs

Hi,

Today we released a markup feature which overlays all the markups on your 2D drawing for a version so you can view them all without having to click on individual comments and view them one at a time. This is one of the most requested features for 2D markups.

When you open up a 2D design you will see all markups by default as shown below

Selecting a markup from the comments panel will highlight that one in the viewer while reducing the opacity of the other markups. Finally, there is a Show/Hide Markups option in the viewer toolbar that allows you to hide all markups for that drawing.

Thanks and hope you like this enhancement, let us know what you think.

Hi Rick,

Markups or comments done in A360 are not viewable from within the Revit model even if you're using C4R and working with the team. They are only viewable from within A360 when viewing the model from there.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Kabir,

Are you using A360 Drive by chance? If so, then Markup is not available.

  • Only Commenting is allowed in A360 Drive.
  • In order to be able to add Markups, you'll need to be using A360, so if you've not done so already you can create a trial at a360.autodesk.com/pricing.

Please let me know,

Thanks,

Brett,
Thank you for your reply. I am a tech here at Applied Software and running into A LOT of question regarding several things. One being the re-branding and the fact that it sill shows up on ADSK's website and on a360 login as "A360" not BIM 360 Team??

Also would you know who I might contact in regards to an issue with a HUB not properly being attached to a paid subscription?

thanks,
Rick

Hi Rick,

  • Can you send me a few screenshots of what you're seeing here on which website please? I believe first thing next week + -  you'll see all the new marketing content go live, so this is likely just a timing thing due to the outage yesterday.

  • Regards to seeing A360 vs. BIM 360 Team or Fusion Team when logging in, the current plan is that all existing users using Team today will continue to see Team until they are asked to choose one of the others that best fits the industry that they're in, i.e. BIM 360 Team or Fusion Team. (exactly when hasn't been determined yet, it will be clearly communicated to all when that information is available)

  • Regarding the hub connection issue, review the below attached and if that doesn't fix the issue, email my colleague Andrew Starkweather at (first.last@autodesk.com)
Thanks,
Brett Wright
