Is there a way to parametric equal numbers between to objects?

I would like to change sides in a polygon and have it change slots in them automatically.

Is there a way to do this, have looked everywhere.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can create parametric relationships between objects so that changes to one object automatically update another, particularly in parametric CAD software like Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or FreeCAD. These programs allow you to define parameters or constraints that establish relationships between different parts of your design. For example, you can create a parameter for the number of sides of a polygon and link this parameter to define the number of slots in another object. By setting up these parameters and linking them through equations or associative features, any change to the number of sides will automatically update the number of slots, ensuring consistency across your design. This approach saves time and ensures accuracy by eliminating the need for manual adjustments.
