From a360 you can shoose embed under sharing options and it gives ifram embed code to allow showing off models in any html page.
Recently, last day or so, something changed and the response from myhub.autodesk360.com to any iframe request includes a header "include X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN"
which means that models can now no longer be embedded on any domain other than myhub.autodesk360.com.
I am sure that this is not intended as otherwise there would be no embed code offered.
I cannot see a workaround for this other than waiting for A360 to remove the header.
There are probably a million or more websites showing
Has anyone else come across this and found a workaround?
Cheers
I've got the exact same problem.
I've got 100 or so iframe embeds of models on a site that is about to launch and now they're useless.
Can anybody shed any light on how to fix this??
I have hundreds of renderings embedded on our company site using iframes. I noticed a problem last week. I contacted support and am waiting to hear back. I happened to dig into our site code and found I am having the same problem.
“Refused to display 'https.....'in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'.”
I have them embedded in the tab '360 View': https://www.emicorp.com/item/GSN%2BGN%2B05/1900-Gimatic-Nipper-Round-Body-Size-05/
Let's hope they can fix this soon! If I hear back I will reply.
Hi Jessica,
I've submitted a support ticket too, hopefully, between us we'll get some answers soon. Your site is very similar to what I'm about to launch, I just hope we get this resolved sooner rather than later.
I'll share any response on the forum here.
I've had other issues with the A360's loading on first page load. I did some research and found code to add to the iframe "rel=external" which should tell my site to load the external content. It varies from browser to browser but some require the user to reload the page for the rendering within the tab to load. This is very frustrating and almost not worth adding to my site if it doesn't work!
My final code is: <iframe src="https://emicorp.autodesk360.com/shares/public/SH7f1edQT22b515c761e61e846a6b7fba032?mode=embed" class="itemDetail360" allowfullscreen="true" webkitallowfullscreen="true" mozallowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0" rel="external"></iframe>
Seems Autodesk are working on a fix!! Woohoo
This seems to be fixed!
Can anyone test this for me please? https://www.emicorp.com/item/IGP%2B14%2B17%2B21/3633-Lightweight-ID-Gripper-IGP-14/
In the tab below the product image, is '360 View'. Can you please tell me if it loads on first page load? Firefox and IE loaded for me but Chrome showed a black square until I hit reload.
Thanks so much!
-Jessica
I have precisely the same issue.
I have 100 or so iframe installs of models on a site that is going to dispatch and now they're pointless.
Would anybody be able to reveal any insight into how to settle this??
