Still Receiving A360 Drive Email Updates After Email Notifications Turned Off

I have followed the steps outlined in the following link so that I can stop receiving emails about A360 drive activity:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/a360/getting-started/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/ENU/Autodesk-36...

After turning off email notifications I am still receiving emails about documents being uploaded, etc. on A360 drive.  Am I missing a step here?

Thank you

Hi David,

Are you sure that you're getting the notifications from with your DRIVE, or are they from your TEAM Hub here? I'm only asking as the link you sent is a AKN article specifically for the TEAM product and not DRIVE.

Either way,

For your TEAM hub:

You'll want to make sure and check to see if you have other member aliases that you've created with your same email address, then log in as that person, and also ensure that you've turned off the Alert and Notification toggle shown below.

Step 2 would be to UNFOLLOW any projects that you're following however it shouldn't make a difference if you've done step 1 above.

For DRIVE:

The option you have would be at the file and/or File level, you'd have to be sure and uncheck the below dialog (under the share icon) for each that you're getting notifications on.

Let me know if you're still having issues,

Brett,

I always able to complete your first step, unchecked all boxes and switched off the "send email notifications" button.  However for step 2 I do not have the options you have at the top bar.  Below is what I see.

For changing the Drive settings, I do not know how to access the "Share" page that you showed in your screen capture.

Hi David,

When in your Drive, if you hover over either a Folder or File, you should then see the SHARE icon come up.

Let me know if this doesn't help.

Brett,

I went to the screen you are talking about, however the share icon does not appear on the folders.

David, can you please send me a full screenshot of what you're seeing please when logged into your Drive?

Also, when you initially sent this in, was it really for DRIVE notifications or TEAM notifications, or both?

Send me an example of the notifications that you're still receiving as well (screenshot is fine)

Thanks,

Brett,

See attached a sample of email notification and a screen shot of my A360.

Hi David,

if you don't see the share icon, that means you don't have the permission to do so. (you are a Viewer at this point)

I can't see the names, however, I'm assuming that you're not the owner of those files, and that they've been shared with you, so what you'll want to do is just connect with the members that shared them with you and then ask them to uncheck the notifications box, or remove you entirely from the share altogether.

Let me know if this isn't the case.

Hi Brett,

Did this just recently change for A360 Drive? I have a customer who is saying she started to get upload notifications again and when she checked her folders this check box to turn off notifications no longer exists. I just went into my account and she seems to be right.

Thanks,
