Items like this have been discussed numerous times. We hope that Autodesk
is listening. There are no automatic ways to accomplish this.
There are 2 workarounds that I know of though - both not as pretty as
Autodesk allowing us some sort of switch (maybe in a future version?)
1. One way is to manually attach the dwf to the idw in the vault once. On
future checkins/checkouts this will update the dwf. (In the project file
you can have the publish folder parameter spec'd to publish to a certain
location on your computer or network.) (Turn off the automatic dwf
publishing that is available from the vault for this option.)
2. You can use the automatic publishing available from the vault and then
just declick on the files that you do not want to publish. (Not a very good
workaround.)
I do option number 1. I wish autodesk would have a way to allow us to
choose waht we would like to be published automatically. I always have to
manually attach files for all my IDWs and parent assemblies. (Very
painful.)
